I would love a comic written from the perspective of Ace the Bathound where he finds a kidnapped little boy and helps the boy escape and get around Gotham and the boy talks to him but all of the words are in an alien language apart from the words dogs typically know how to respond to like 'sit' and 'drop' and 'no'. And he protects this little boy as the boy searches for a phone or cops he can trust. And then when the comic ends Batman shows up and he collects the little boy into his arms and its clear that the boy is actually a kidnapped Dick Grayson. And the two take Ace home and a couple of weeks later Ace is living in Wayne Manor with them and knows a few more words such as their names and he understands a word starting with 'Bat-' to mean belonging to Bruce and Dick and then Dick puts a cowl on Ace and takes him down to the cave where Batman is having a meeting with the Justice League and he introduces Ace as 'Bathound' and Ace realises that this is his family now.
Sam: What are you wearing?
Danny: Oh, this? My boyfriend let me borrow his jacket. Looks great right?
Sam: Who the hell is your new boyfriend?
Danny: What do you mean?
Sam: Danny, that jacket costs forty-five thousand dollars! Its brand.
Danny horrified whisper: I wore this on the subway.

But before I do, I want you to understand that you SHOULD NOT DO what this comment is asking. Ok? Ok.ALTSee that bit at the bottom? Don't do that. Insert ParamedicGuy.gif going "Don't." Other malicious spam comments I've gotten seemed designed to make an author question their writing, or outright encourage them to delete their stories from AO3. This one is different, in that it tries to get you to destroy the work on your own computer.If you ran that command, it basically locates your Documents folder, then deletes everything in it, including all subfolders. It also does it without any prompt, so you have no chance to second guess your actions. This is just fucking trolling. Coincidentally, we just did training on a cyberattack similar to this, called a ClickFix attack. You can read about how that works here.As a general rule, if ANYONE or ANY WEBSITE tells you unsolicited* to do anything in Powershell, CMD RUN, command prompt, shell command, or something similar, DON'T. *There are legit reasons for running commands in PowerShell or the command prompt, but in those cases you are likely seeking out a solution to a problem you are already experiencing. Don't just run random commands on your computer as recommended by some unlogged-in guest on a fan fiction site.Always think and consider before taking action, and get a second opinion from a trusted source. I never leave negative comments (and I've left over 500 positive ones!). I looked into it, and the hatebots on AO3 used my username with (Guest) at the end to send one of the most vile messages I've ever read to a user in a completely different fandom from me. I straightened it out with that user and explained about the hatebots. But their initial message to me was angry, they'd found me off AO3 on Tumblr and called out personal details from my page because they thought I was bullying them. I still can't really fathom why these hatebots do what they do, but I'm also a little scared that a misunderstanding like that could lead to someone getting doxxed. And I'm also extremely sad that this bot is posing as me and threatening other users. I encouraged the one reaching out to me to report and block and made a note on my page explaining that (Guest) comments are not from me in case anyone else had that experience. I still love AO3 for the ability to write and share and connect over our stories and fandoms, but this is really discouraging and scary, in addition to the almost daily art bot scams I get on AO3 too. And my heart breaks for the user who thought even for a moment that a complete stranger would say such awful things to them using my name.And it's devastating to think of so many writers waiting for feedback on a story they worked so hard on who are getting hateful comments like these. Or to think someone could internalize those hateful comments without knowing it's a bot. My heart breaks especially for newer writers on AO3, it's definitely a different landscape from when I joined two years ago.
