Had an interesting day with Mom today. We were going to take her to Ocean City for Mother’s Day but there was construction on the Bay Bridge and they were merging three lanes of traffic into one. Took us over 2.5 hours to get through this mess. Because of the horrible rain and grey skies, decided not to go any farther and stopped at a restaurant for a very late lunch — none of us were happy with our selections. So we decided to go to North Beach for an ice cream cone. We were all happy! Took Mom back to Morningside House of St. Charles and took this photo. She had a great Mother’s Day just being with me and Omar. Sweater from Rhoda and Omar; carnations from Fisherman’s Inn.
