BUMP[1] (AKA B.U.M.P., an acronym of Burned-out Underpaid Musical Prodigies) is an American band which began in the 1990s. Their first album was released in July 1, 1999.[2] Burned Out Underpaid Musical Prodigies is not a well-known band, so information on this musical group is correspondingly not well known.

Location of formation[]

BUMP began in the United States. BUMP possibly formed in Denver, Colorado. Some or all of their music was recorded in Denver.[3]

Genre and type of music[]

BUMP created rock music. The lyrics, titles, and liner notes are in English.[4]

Band members[]

BUMP's members are William Paul Lechner, Terry J Goldstein, Malcolm A Leeper, and Steve Yates. Background vocals are by Shari Weissman and Carol McKenzie.[5][6]

Discography[]

BUMP created at least one album: titled "Bump 225", and it is related to Iswazz Music Productions. "Bump 225" is relatively well-documented. (BUMP may have created another album: not "Bump 225", but also involving imagery of speed bump signs.)

Bump 225[]

"Bump 225" was originally distributed as a compact disc in a jewel case. Scans exist of that album artwork and liner notes. The front cover is an astronaut picture, taken on the moon, speed bump sign edited in; the back cover is a photo on Earth of a yellow speed bump sign; the outside liner notes are black text on a yellow background; and the inside liner notes are lyrics of the songs.[7]

"Bump 225" has 8 tracks (as stated on the back cover of the CD case). The audio tracks are:

  1. "U.C." (4:05)
  2. "Name Of The Game" (5:15)
  3. "Chances Are" (5:15)
  4. "Chilly Wine" (3:47)
  5. "IV-Love" (3:50)
  6. "Party For Two" (4:36)
  7. "Checkerboard Life" (3:32)
  8. "The Wanting" (6:35)

In the Amazon Prime Music release of "Bump 225", there's two tracks added to the end:[8]

  • 9. "Schizandra" (4:17)
  • 10. "The Now of Things" (6:08)
