Well, since my sister posted, maybe this is what I need rest in peace aunt Maxine aunt Maxine was a sister to Mildred Layfield. She lived to be 111 just like her sister 111. They met in heaven yesterday with her brother and other sister wow they’re amazing memories
My sister couldn’t say it any better. She was a very classy, classy woman. Her husband is in aviation Hall of Fame, and she was always there for us children. I remember times going to May company in the Cadillac her saying buy whatever you want for school. She was such a blessing to all of us all the time , she was so classy that you had an appointment to go see her because she was such a busy woman. A woman that traveled the world
May the Lord hold you in his arms and the angels guide to your family in heaven

I'm so sorry she is no longer living on earth but how can we be sorry for the life she LIVED?!!
Celebrate that life and rejoice that she and her sister are having that special reunion in heaven!

Aunt Maxine was an amazing woman! She was larger than life, joyful, and had mad style. I feel so fortunate that I got to be in her orbit. There was something special about aunt Maxine, grandma Layfield and their siblings. They were always cheerful, optimistic, positive, and that energy spread to those around them. I always felt that long life was not waisted on them, because they loved to spread joy. Welcome home Aunt Maxine, rest in peace
