Cancel your ChatGPT Plus, burn their compute on the way out, and switch to Claude Cancel your ChatGPT Plus, burn their compute on the way out, and switch to Claude
News 📰

OpenAI just made a deal with a devil and lost this customer of 2 years. The company (originally non profit) that told us they existed to build AI safely for humanity is now taking Pentagon contracts. Sam Altman decided defense money was more important than every principle the company was founded on.

If you’re done funding that, here’s what to do.

Cancel Plus right now:

Settings, Subscription, Manage, Cancel. You keep access through the end of your billing cycle so there’s no reason to wait. Do it today. Make sure you request a refund as well.

Use every cent of what you already paid for if they don’t cancel your plus immediately, they’ll try to have you pay through the end of the billing cycle. FUCK THEM!

You’ve got the rest of the month. Max it out. Hit your usage limits every single day. Run nonsense prompts, waste their compute, flood their training pipeline with garbage. You already paid for these resources. Make them expensive to serve. They want to build weapons tech, they can do it without subsidizing it on your dime.

Export your data

Settings, Data Controls, Export Data. They’ll email you a zip file with all your conversations, usually within an hour. Download it before your subscription ends.

Switch to Claude

Go to claude.ai and upload your ChatGPT conversations. Tell Claude the context and pick up right where you left off. All your projects, code, writing, research, whatever you had going carries right over.

Claude Pro is the same $20/month. Anthropic was founded by people who left OpenAI specifically because they saw the company abandoning its mission. Turns out they were right about every single concern they raised.

This matters because OpenAI did this on purpose

They didn’t get dragged into defense work and theyproactively rewrote their own usage policies to allow it. They removed the language banning military applications because they wanted to and because Sam Altman is a dirtbag.

This was a calculated business decision to chase government money at the expense of everything they promised when they asked for your trust and your subscription.

You can be done with them in 15 minutes. And you can make the last month hurt a little on your way out.

Your team doesn’t have time for fluff. Get trusted learning that drives real cloud capability.

I've been a paying ChatGPT user since GPT-4 dropped. I like the tools. I'm not an AI doomer, and I have zero affiliation with Anthropic. But I watched what happened this week and I'm done.

Friday morning, Sam Altman goes on CNBC and says he shares Anthropic's red lines. His employees sign a solidarity letter. He tells his staff OpenAI is working to "deescalate."

Friday night, just a few hours later, Altman announces OpenAI signed a deal to replace Anthropic on the Pentagon's classified networks. The Pentagon agreed to put the surveillance and autonomous weapons guardrails in OpenAI's contract. The same guardrails they just blacklisted Anthropic for requesting.

Altman then "graciously" suggested the Pentagon extend these terms to all AI companies. Which is a nice thing to say after you've already pilfered your competitor's contract.

I'm not naive. I understand the cold logic. But there's a word for publicly declaring solidarity with someone's position in the morning and then taking their job by nightfall. And "deescalation" isn't it.

If the lesson here is "hold the line on your values and we will destroy your business and hand everything to whoever steps over you", and the industry response is to race each other to be the one doing the stepping over, then something has gone badly wrong.

Cancelled Pro. Deleted the account. I'm not going to support whatever OpenAI is becoming.

Due to GDPR laws, you can demand them:

-to delete all your personal data they store

-not to train their model on your data

-delete your GPTs

-delete your account

Let's hold them accountable by following up with constant flood of emails if they deleted the data yet 😉 They have 1 month to do so, I am setting my reminders. They can extend it, but I will be demanding a reasoning if they do so. And if they don't I will report them to the local data protection agency.

Oh, and don't forget to cancel your subscription.

OpenAI just secured $110 billion in private funding. Us cancelling our subscriptions might just be a drop in the ocean sadly, tho it still is the right thing to do if you have any sort of consciousness.

With OpenAI's recent announcement, which is definitely extremely bad. But I don't understand why Anthropic is being painted as a hero...

Anthropic had already been used in war crimes through the Palantir partnership.

With such fatal decisions like this that could effectively jeopardize the safety of humanity as we know it, people who are not experts in AI should take no part in making such decisions.

Effectively the end result will be AI taking over and here's the potential end game scenario from Gemini:

OpenAI just got the EXACT same terms Anthropic was blacklisted for requesting. Make it make sense. OpenAI just got the EXACT same terms Anthropic was blacklisted for requesting. Make it make sense.
News 📰

Anthropic asked for two exceptions: no mass domestic surveillance of Americans, and no fully autonomous weapons without a human in the loop. For this, the Pentagon called Dario a "liar" with a "God complex," designated Anthropic a supply chain risk (a label historically reserved for foreign adversaries), and Trump threatened "major civil and criminal consequences."

Hours later, Altman announces OpenAI signed a deal with the Pentagon. The terms? His own words:

"Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement."

The same. Exact. Restrictions.

Altman even said "We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies" — the terms Anthropic was just punished for requesting. 330+ employees at Google DeepMind and OpenAI signed an open letter supporting Anthropic's position.

This was never about the terms. This was political retaliation against a company that wouldn't immediately bend the knee. Whether you're pro or anti military AI, the fact that the government can blacklist an American company for requesting terms it grants to a competitor hours later should concern everyone.

Eternal shame on you, OpenAI Eternal shame on you, OpenAI
Gone Wild

It's fascinating how Donald Trump labels Anthropic a "radical left-wing company." It seems increasingly clear that anyone who dares to disagree with him or anyone who fact-checks his false claims automatically becomes a radical leftist in his narrative.

And let's be honest: the socalled *left* in America barely exists. What passes for *radical left* in the United States would be considered center-right policy in the rest of the developed world. But apparently, Americans have grown comfortable lying to themselves. USA exceptionalism at its finest.

But let's talk about what really matters today.

The company whose models were trained on your data -> on your conversations, your fears, your struggles, your illnesses, your mental health, your most intimate secrets -> has today chosen to align itself with the United States military.

A military apparatus that does not simply defend its borders, but one that dictates geopolitics through force, threats, and coercion. Through tariffs. Through sanctions. Through the barrel of a gun. A regime that believes it has the sovereign right to interfere in the autonomy of other nations, to reshape the world in its image and now it wants AI to help it do exactly that.

You handed OpenAI your trust. You handed them your words. And today, they handed them to the Pentagon.

Shame on you, OpenAI.

Eternal shame.

And this will not be forgotten.
