There are a whole lot of people, mostly guys, who are spending years and years in prison who do not belong there. The sentencing is completely out of bounds for one thing. Then there is the whole creation of the sex offender registry which is a horror show. I understand the terrible crimes that have happened, but these crimes in which a death or serious injury occurs are relatively rare, as compared to the population as a whole. And it's never really been demonstrated that the sex offender registry does anything to prevent these crimes from occurring.What good has it done, what bad situations has it prevented to balance out all the suffering this system has caused? We live in an entire society dominated by memes or something. I've been thinking for a while now that all these outward signs of supposed nonconformity are just a cover for inward rigid conformity. Let me relate a strange dream I had recently. I have strange dreams all the time. They seem to be like long movies but I mostly remember the parts that happened right before I woke up. I always dream in color and sometimes these dreams are photographically realistic. In this dream me and some guys had been doing a moving job, moving a huge amount of somebody's stuff. But all of a sudden, we had to shut down the moving job, because it seemed like the end of the world was underway or something. 9/11-type chaos was breaking out everywhere, huge black clouds of smoke were billowing in the sky, massive chunks of debris were falling out of the sky, crushing buildings. It was the long prophesied end of the world. All of a sudden, the scene switched, in the dream. I'm looking at a huge wide round long tube or shaft, all made out of glass, sort of like an elevator shaft but quite a bit wider. Goes deep into the Earth and high into the sky or wherever, I didn't see where it goes. It's all made out of glass so I can see right through it. Inside of it is mechanisms and machinery for traveling up or down, I can't remember which, along the tube. Sort of made out of pistons, rods, gears, and stuff like that. Traveling up or down along this huge glass tube. It's carrying people, each one separately, along the tube. But these people were completely drained of color, as far as their faces hair and clothing, just completely white. Almost like they were statues or mannequins or something, but you could tell they were people. Some of these people had become entangled in the machinery somehow, and were held sort of pinioned upside down as they traveled along the tube. They looked completely helpless. You could tell these people were conscious in a sense, although they couldn't move much, and they did not look happy. Then I woke up. Now I have strange dreams all the time. I have a very active imagination, I read quite a bit, and I am an artist. But this dream was a bit different. This was almost like a dream that was sent to me or something. Thank you for all your work.
