I know that this might sound a little weird, but why do so many boys want to sleep with a woman and have sex? Am I the only one who wants someone to hold me and cuddle at night? Like, is it just me, or is being comforted by a woman just better than the quick gratification of sex?

Sex CAN be a way to demonstrate love and closeness, but sex just for pleasure isn’t half as fulfilling. Unfortunately, society has normalized sex just for pleasure, so something less fleeting becomes more appealing to people seeking actual love. You can argue that with how sexualized modern culture is, something like cuddling shows more affection as taking the time to hold and comfort someone is an act of genuine selflessness rather than, as you said the quick gratification of sex.
Now I know this isn’t universal and there are people who want sex to be something special between them and a partner. And that’s completely fine. All I’m doing is offering an explanation to the best of my ability.

I want sex, but cuddles seem so much better. Instead of a quick release, you get genuine affection + you don't have to deal with sex problems (STDs, Pregnancies). I wish I could get cuddled 😭 (by a women of course)
