Took my Mom to visit her friend Ethelyn yesterday. Unbelievable lady born in 1915. She’s on my Mom’s birthday call list and is turning 110 this year. She still lives alone, although she has someone come in and help, and she climbs 14 stairs to her bedroom every evening! She said her husband was an alcoholic and her priest told her not to have children because the responsibility would fall on her. I love that we get to take care of my Mom and Dad and it makes me sad. This woman sits alone 80% of her day. The good news is, she is ready for heaven, whenever the Lord calls her. Enjoy her video.
