Twisted Thrills Vs. Classic Chills

This is a limited-time event where players can play stories and stamp missions. The event's story is divided into books, while the stamp missions are divided into rounds. There are five rounds of stamp missions and each round has a different run period. Once one round ends, it will switch to the next stamp mission.

Play the event to get the following limited-time cards: Malleus (Nightmare Suit), Epel (Nightmare Suit), Azul (Nightmare Suit), Vil (Nightmare Suit) and Idia (Nightmare Suit).

Summary[]

There you are at a book fair, when you happen upon a book that suddenly starts glowing. The next thing you know, you find yourself in...Halloween Town?! It's a strange place full of quirky characters, not the least of which are a mysterious young man named Skully, and Jack Skellington, the master of fright himself. Join them in creating a spectacularly scary Halloween!

Gameplay[]

1. Unlock story chapters by taking lessons (History, Flight, Alchemy, and Elective Special).
   Chapters are unlocked based on the number of lessons taken. The lesson counter resets when starting a new book.
   • Lesson reward drop rate increased: For the duration of the event, the amount of Thaumarks players get and the item drop rate in lessons have been increased.
2. Play the event limited stories to earn Jack-o'-Lanterns.
   Jack-o'-Lanterns are used as currency in the Jack-o'-Lantern Shop.
3. Complete the Halloween stamp missions to earn rewards, including Jack-o'-Lanterns, Gems and other items.

Note: The Twistunes featured in this event are only available for a limited time. Once the event ends on November 9 at 11:59 p.m. (PT), they will no longer be playable.

In this event, players can obtain five event cards by playing the event story. The cards joins the player's roster permanently after obtaining them.

Malleus (Nightmare Suit)

Joins the player's roster after clearing Book 1 Chapter 13: That Bad Habit of His.

Epel (Nightmare Suit)

Joins the player's roster after clearing Book 2 Chapter 22: Culinary Curiosity.

Azul (Nightmare Suit)

Joins the player's roster after clearing Book 3 Chapter 20: The True Halloween.

Vil (Nightmare Suit)

Joins the player's roster after clearing Book 4 Chapter 13: Most Impressive, Zero!.

Idia (Nightmare Suit)

Joins the player's roster after clearing Book 5 Chapter 16: Some Dumb Fun.

Event Effective Cards[]

For the duration of the event, the following cards will grant a bonus to the number of limited-time materials you can earn during the Crafter's Gauntlet in addition to the listed reward materials. Forming a team with additional event effective cards will get an increased bonus based on the type and number of cards used.

These effects are only valid for the duration of this event. Uncapping or Groovification will not give any effect to the bonus.

Event Furniture[]

Limited-time event furniture can be available to craft once the player has cleared certain chapters of the "Twisted Thrills Vs. Classic Chills" story and has reached Room Rank 8. Event furniture can be accessed regularly, through the Crafting menu in the player's Guest Room. They will stay available for one month after the duration of the event. After this period, they cannot be crafted. Furniture not requiring event materials is always available to craft as long as the player has unlocked them from the event.

Trivia[]

• The Japanese server's first run of this event had a different twistune. The twistune was replaced in the English server's first run with a replacement from the Japanese server's second run, making it one of the things that got released on the English server before the Japanese server.
  • Therefore the twistune is not limited and is always available to play, with rewards.
