i only fast twice a week because i would lose too much weight and be too fatigued to do anything otherwise. it's going well, it really isn't terribly hard to subsist off of one meal a day. last lent i used to go without any drinks but water on my fast days but i decided to allow myself 3 caffeinated beverages per day on account of it just being unbearable for me and people around me on account of my tiredness and elevated irritability whenever i didn't have any caffeine or food
