The best thing you can do is call up your nearest Social Worker and explain the situation. Ask what either one of you can do to alleviate this problem. You'd be surprised what strings they can pull, legal or not. Remember, at the end of the day, these people are here to help. Plus, you're a minor, that kinda shit has a huge effect on tax laws.
