We are the Dundee Football Club Society at the University of Aberdeen, a society which is dedicated to supporting Dundee FC through any means necessary. We are unfortunately currently not officially affiliated with Dundee FC, however, we are an (extremely) official society at the University of Aberdeen Students' Association (AUSA). The distinction of being the only society in Aberdeen dedicated solely to rigorous, persistent, and entirely serious, support of the best football club in the entirety of Scotland brings us great pride, joy, and a snobby sense of moral superiority.
The Dundee Football Club Society was first conceived, as many great things are, unplanned and on an intercity bus at 3am, some years ago now (Assyrian calendar year 6774). After a long period of incubation of approximately 2 months (Football Club Societies have a shorter gestation period compared to human babies), it was finally brought into the real world. As all truly great people are, it was not immediately appreciated for its inherent and undeniable talent, as it indeed still is not to this day. One can only hope that the reader, after seeing the sheer glory of this web-site, experiences a profound spiritual experience revealing to him the true glory of the Society, and henceforth becomes a devoted evangelist for our just and honourable cause. This would mean that the society may be brought to international fame and glory before its inevitable demise at some point in the (hopefully extremely distant) future. The average life expectancy for a Football Club Society is unfortunately far shorter than a human's, so we recommend haste.
We are of course very much obliged for your assistance in this matter, and offer you many assurances and platitudes, of an entirely (and ominously) unspecified nature, and which we unfortunately have no way of keeping.
