Yeah that's a good summary. Nothing really missing.
Guess I'm idling mail services now too, thanks @jar
This is freaking comical. How is using someones username as a promo code a problem? They didn't say you endorsed it, they were very up front about the opposite. lmao. I kinda wanna buy one even though i already have one, just because this is hilarious.
I
you
maybe they can hire @VeloxMedia's legal team to help them, I hear those guys work with the FBI, CIA, DOHS, and every other acronym known to man.
At first it bothered me but this is LET, so the drama and cheap deals made it all better. I feel honored.
And they even have their own media department!
I actually do know someone at the CIA! Well not know, I mean I know of someone at the CIA. Well, technically, they were at the CIA. If we're splitting hairs, they did one op for the CIA in the field over a decade ago. I actually don't know anyone in the CIA.
I spent the day pruning my vps list, we need more drama deals like this!!!
In an age of AI and hardware crisis, I have the honour to witness such legendary offer of $5/year.
@jar i think this is like the 3rd or 4th time ive gone to buy one of your promos only to discover i have a $15/3yr one that some of my stuff is literally using that i setup 2yrs ago, lmao.
So you ordered an offer, and you discovered another offer that you forgot about and got it back for free?
I have no idea what this sentence means, but im going to go with yes.
To be dead honest for a moment, I spent part of my day crunching numbers to see if I could lower everyone's price across the board. I can't, not with the growth needed for what our customer base has shifted to. But I genuinely wanted to give people a break after I keep seeing email after email of people raising prices.
I mean let's be real, we know what this is. If the corporations all stick together and raise their prices around the same time, we all get hit with fatigue and just assume it's not worth leaving them because greener grass is probably temporary. It's the large corporations standing together to fuck the little guy. Most of them could tighten their belts just an inch and weather temporary economic conditions to help out customers that are also dealing with the same on a smaller scale, and they're the ones who get hit the hardest. But there's no way the CEO is going to buy a smaller yacht this year just to save you $2/m.
It pisses me off and it's not for me that I'm pissed, it's for everyone who is struggling to build things or support their businesses right now. I already prepared my margin for this, and I'm not raising prices on anyone unless I have only two options remaining:
This promo though, it's also a way to give back. It's not how I intended to announce it, but I saw a great opportunity to do it the LET way.
This reminds me of a scene from Parks and Rec.
