In 2022, when I was a new mother, I joined a local parent group. It met in-person once a week, but, thanks to WhatsApp, it was actually an all-hours endeavor — and this was ideal, given our sleepless circumstances. At 4:30 in the morning, one mom might be asking for sleep sack recommendations. At 11 p.m., another mom might be offering up a pack of unused diapers. At 9:30 a.m., a mom might be asking if anyone wanted to go get coffee, because her baby had a bad night and she desperately needed to get out of the house and mainline some caffeine.
