Reason to remove the ban:
Because the official statement for the ban was vague and I got multiple different reasons as to why I got banned, I would like to touch upon all of them.

the lab:
shittalking - I did say some mean things about certain individuals there, but with it being a private discord server it wasn’t my intention to hurt anyone with those words, just a way to vent some frustrations I had about redsun related things. I never threatened anyone, I never 'backstabbed' anyone, it was just sporadic insults in a private space or jokes at the expense of people who I didn't expect to read them.
‘staff tracker’ - a bot that was used to ping users when a specific gamemode/map appeared on the server, later with an added function that showed if 1 of the staff members was on the server. I had no involvement with making it and I stopped using it after getting all non-grindy mitm badges.
stat/badge farming:
“We have received numerous private complaints about your behaviour from other players over an extended period, primarily related to your pursuit of badges or stats on our game servers.” - I would love to have been informed about people having an issue with how I play before it becomes “numerous” and “over an extended period” but hopefully this won’t be a problem anymore.
The only instances of stat farming I can think of are surf completions, which I explained in my old appeal and spamming canteens on an empty server to see if there’s a milestone badge for it. I don’t think I disrupted gameplay while going for badges after my first gp ban. I don’t see the issue in wanting to be higher on the leaderboards or have big numbers next to your name if it doesn’t affect the gameplay of others.
targeting: I know I’ve been accused of targeting on the servers, never did that, if killing someone as hale or in an arena gamemode with ~8 people counts as targeting then I guess I don’t know how the game works.

Due to current events I feel it would be best to allow a public discussion on your appeal to better judge if the community would be accepting of you if we modify or remove the ban.

How is one supposed to form a opinion on the original ban reasons and its severity when the ban reasons said by xdrei are vague and sound like nothing actually serious? No proof was shown publicly here, not even the big main report that led to the mass ban xdrei was part of had info in it unlike harem that is now appealing too. Even that wasnt fully revealing the big picture.
There might have been mentions or something shown on discord, but who would keep up and archive those if not mod team?

I would suggest/request showing the proof of what he did if possible so people at least can gauge how much of it actually was over the line behavior.

actually gonna backseat a bit, why would you even let community decide something like this? Wouldnt it be better if the current new mod team gathered the original proofs and decide based on old staff opinions or actions at the time and gauge from there? I would assume old staff had damm good reason to not only make it permanent but also specify "which can not be appealed" part.

possibly schizo opinion here but isnt it bit suspicious both of the only perma banned people from that ban wave happened to appeal at once? Especially now that the recent events happened?

I dont personally know how they behave now so my stance is neutral towards whatever decision happens. So its up to someone else to say or show they changed since they know them better.

Anyways well its kind of been requested that former staff shouldn't intervene so you'd pretty much only have two people at most who should be knowers and well it is what it is however these two appeals end up going.
Only thing I do want to leave for now is this one minute thought and knowers should know aswell.

I can't say more here but logs of all the discussion regarding how/why the mass ban went down as it did along with anyone implicated, banned or not, should probably still exist in mod chat being able to be reviewed. But it is a belief that [redacted] had a non-insignificant role which shouldn't be ignored especially when some things associated with the bans may be brought up. No offense but yeah it's probably gonna be inevitable that their part gets brought up if reviewing the content mod chat had at that point is done.

Are you that afraid of Mikusch to state it outright, or are you trying to avoid heat while still hinting at something to stir things up indirectly? From what he has said I understand he is no longer interested in this community and I like to think that everyone involved from the previous mass ban is cool with him since we made peace and significant amount of time passed since then.
