Western governments need to have their media & communications associations regulate & take action for fake news. It is very socially dangerous. In Canada the CRTC and in the US the FCC and their equivalents throughout Europe need to step up. And we need strong lawsuits against the media outlets over and over to increase their accountability. Free speech cannot include outright lies and opinion is not to be represented as fact. Period.

I marvel at how correct Israeli's are at calling the status in Palestine, and how inaccurate international organisations such as the UNn, Amnesty, Human Rigts Watch, Doctors without Borders etc are.

I so hope that when this war is over and the truth n all finally comes out, all these so called “journalists” and news agencies, whatever shape they take, that have spread blood libels, mis/dis information and propaganda, will have to stand up and be counted! Shamed and where possible, punished for their lies for all to see

Hamas is barely mentioned in that video - let alone the fact that Hamas started the war or has been attacking Israel since 2007. it’s the poorest form of journalism. But I guess that’s the standard nowadays

The comments under his posts are shocking! He claims Israelis don’t care—but that’s simply not true. Israelis do care. Yet when you see schoolbooks in Gaza that glorify killing Jews and preaching hate, even the most left-leaning Israelis start to doubt whether peace is possible. Still, thousands of them continue to march for peace—you can’t ignore that reality.
What’s fascinating is how his group always seems to “understand” Palestinian radicalism, labeling it resistance. But when Israelis, after decades of suicide bombings and terror attacks, grow more radical themselves, they’re immediately branded as “new Nazis.” The double standard couldn’t be clearer.

In May 2024 I visited Tiberius. The hotels were chock full of residents of northern communities like Kiryat Shemona who were evacuated due to constant Hezbollah rocket fire. The towns were on fire. 80,000 people were displaced from whole towns during this stage of the war. The Guardian was releasing articles accusing Israel of starting to expand the war to include aggression on Lebanon. NYT too. More such instances of patent lies meant to undermine Israel flowed with abandon. I have been done with the Guardian since. Their support for Hamas since October 7 was the last straw.
