Ascension of Chaos: A Skill Tree Assimilation LitRPG Apocalypse

What would you do if your entire world were turned on its head?
A Primordial System buzzing in everyone’s heads, displaying strange screens and other displays in their visions.
Being thrown into a tutorial before entering your first System Event broadcast across the universe.
Returning back to your home after the System Event to realize that it’s been filled with Gates leading to monster-filled domains, a good number of which have already broken and released their monsters into the world.
And learning that the abilities every human being has – abilities that have led to the current structure of society – are nothing but the root of their Skill Trees. The very first skill in their Skill Tree out of many.
Well, Ashley doesn’t know. She doesn’t remember anything other than some basic common knowledge from before waking up at the start of the tutorial with amnesia.
So why should this change anything for her?
Other than her finding out about the blood bestowed upon her by a certain primordial and her own Skill Tree.
One with just a single skill.
A skill to unlock the skill trees of those she kills.
To assimilate.
What to expect: Skill Trees, LitRPG Apocalypse, Skill Tree Assimilator(the ability to take the skill trees of those the MC kills that she can unlock through Skill Points without getting the skills right away), Livestreamed Dungeons, Livestreamed Public Battles and Events, Chaos Magic, Varied Magic due to Skill Tree Assimilator, and the MC does not start off strong in the start and only grows strong as she assimilates more skills from those she kills, the MC starts out without any memories and few emotions and slowly gains them throughout the series.
What not to expect: I do not write romance(for the main protagonist), there will be no harem, there will be no reverse harem, and do not expect a really strong MC at the start of the story as she has to grow into that role.
Two chapters a week.

This story has a lot of potential to evolve into something truly captivating. While the characters are still developing, each one holds promise to become more dynamic and engaging. The main character's abilities, while powerful, add an intriguing dimension to the plot and set the stage for thrilling possibilities. As we uncover more about her past, there's anticipation that it will unveil layers of complexity rather than simply making her flawless.
The grammar is solid, and the story flows well. While the transition between chapters could be smoother, they offer valuable perspectives that contribute to the overall narrative. It's clear that the story is shaping into a compelling journey for the main character, with challenges and growth opportunities ahead.
Although the concept of power within the story is prevalent, it opens doors to explore how the system functions and how characters interact with it. The broader universe, while familiar, holds potential for surprises and deeper exploration. The adversaries faced so far, while not yet fully challenging, hint at greater conflicts to come that will test the protagonist's capabilities and character development.
In essence, this story is laying a solid foundation for an engaging adventure that promises growth, intrigue, and meaningful discoveries as it progresses.
Boring characters with too much filler POV

So this is still a relatively early review so lots of things can change with time
Characters: The main character is amnesic but for some reason that also means basically emotionless and apathetic to everything.
The side characters are really generic and there are way too many characters introduced for no reason. The author includes way too many different viewpoints, considering how these characters dont provide anything and are just forgotten afterwards (for now). There are also many of these reaction viewpoints, along with forum posts (similar to PHO posts in worm), which seem to be more for wish fulfillment. I also have to complain about Akari Yamanoto:
Story: Typical system initialization rn.
The power system is kinda interesting but can be too complicated. How it works is she can get there skill tree but must unlocked all but the base skill. The problem with this, is that only does she have a bunch of base skills but some viewers may like keeping track of potential skills (aka. me) but its not really feasible as one enemy killed can be like 100 potential skills.
There seems to be this plot to setup this mysterious pre-apocalypse identity. But frankly I'm not very into this storyline.
Style: Way too many useless POV and unnecessary info.
Grammar: Fine, didn't notice any problems with it.
Captivating and fluid

I'm a devourer of stories. This one in particular, while not a conventional slowburn or a typical world-building presentation, is one of the points that makes this work stand out the most. I'm not an English speaker, and I don't usually log on to read either. But I find, (as I rarely do), that I can't help but leave a review. The author is dedicated and very imaginative, if you want to read something and feel that the author likes what he is doing and puts effort into it, this is your writer, ¡read this and his other works!.
Can't wait to read more

I find myself pleasantly surprised. It's a fun story with interesting characters and great premise.
The magic system has a lot of nuance and potential so far, which I like quite a bit. The main character has an aura of mystery and competence that has made her fun to read about.
The only critique I have is her emotionlessness sometimes detracts from the enjoyability and left me worried she'd be like that for the whole story, but fortunately she has started caring more and it feels even better as a story when she reaches that point.
CHAOS RULES

I just Started this book and I am already liking chaos more and more. I hope the rest of the book lives up to expectations. Please let haos run wild all through this work of art that you are being so generous in sharing with us humble readers. Thank you
Too much MarySue-ness even for this genre
Reviewed at: B2 | Chapter 14
MC doesn’t have much in terms of character, her main defining trait is that she was terribly traumatized by neglectful parents, went into coma and lost her memories and emotions.
Coincidentally, after she has woken up and given OP power, she is adored and doted upon by all other characters (whose defining traits are that they love MC). Also, her terribly neglectful parents secretly love her. Random “forum thread” chapters freely sprinkled over the text, poorly formatted and filled with “commenters”, who all adore and love MC. That’s just too much even for such self-indulgent genre.
Liking what I am seeing so far

This is the type of novels I like, female lead with some unique power system and it's written well enough.
So far the novel has high potential and I am excited to see what other unique elements will you add to this novel and expand upon the idea you started.
Fun, well written, and interesting

I really like the setting of the story, it puts a fresh twist on the familiar. Also, the author does a great job of getting you invested in the MC and her growth and power and her growing as a person. Also, the dualogue is well written and believable. (Also in extremely impressed by this author doing a great job writing in male and female POV acriss their stories)I would definitely recommend this book *nodding*.
Good Start

Good Start to the book, well written and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes with the MC. Hopefully she gets a bit of life and not just be apathetic and emotionless. It will be interesting to see how many books will be written and if it keeps my attention.
Another gem

I love this writer's stories so much. They usually have very good plots, excellent grammar, awesome system description... And I really like there's very explicit that there will be no romance or OP MC from the start.
This is another amazing story, with intriguing start. I couldn't stop reading it and I am waiting for more chapters.
