I really should write Lina's Guide to Streaming on Fedora ^^
@lina as fedora user that is not using arch, that would be very helpful, thank you!
@lina if you do, add a tutorial on app based capture
And finding OBS plugins on flathub. (You gotta visit flathub's GitHub page and search for obs to find the plugins)
Took me ages to learn that since you can't manually search for them on the flathub
@InsaneAwesomeTony Most of the important OBS plugins are packaged in Fedora so the guide would focus on the non flatpak OBS I think ^^
@lina yes please, I'm currently working up to a YouTube channel so that'd be helpful for me as a fellow Fedora user
@lina I got asked how i compile OBS-studio on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed so i know the feeling. Luckly i had a hodge podge guide for Pop-os and OpenSUSE tumbleweed i recovered before my workstation drive keeled over, giving up the ghost after 10 years. Gave it to them with the info that the compile guide is not complete as there are hard missing dependencies in each distro. Who know librist would be a pain in the butt!
Good luck with your guide!
