I never wanted to be a millionaire; the world has enough of those and a lot of them are prize jackassholes. I wanted to become truly rich, and important. So I became a writer.

As a young DM, the Elminster books inspired me. Ed Greenwood, you rock.

Humility is an essential component for every creator! Also, the idea of getting to talk to you with such ease would make teenage me go crazy. Social media is weird!

Heh. I'm just a guy who was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time...and, 397 (I think; I lost count a few years back) books later, am still at it. Because this is what I love doing. ;}

397? Geez, I got some catching up to do!

You've been tweeting about Storm Talons a lot. I don't keep up with news very well - is that a new project you're working on?

Yes, it's a new fantasy setting I'll be relaunching in 2019. Think of the Realms but less abundant magic and far fewer gods. So, more swashbuckling... :}
