而為接駁東涌東站嘅大型路軌改道工程亦都順利推進，往香港方向嘅新路段已經接駁好路軌同架空電纜，亦進行緊列車動態測試，一步步向2029年通車目標邁進

當新站落成，就可以服務東涌東新發展區未來新增人口，無縫銜接成個社區

[Tung Chung East Station has topped out!] A major milestone for the Tung Chung Line Extension! This is the second topped out station among the new wave of new railway projects following Kwu Tung Station meaning the major civil works are substantially completed, and we're moving full steam ahead with electrical and mechanical works.

Our team made great use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology and precast concrete elements to complete the station main structure super efficiently Together with the constructed pedestrian footbridges connecting the entrances/exits, the station is now in good shape

Major track diversion works are coming along smoothly too. Tracks and overhead line on the new Hong Kong-bound section are already connected, with dynamic train testing underway to prepare for train operations on the new track—getting ready step by step for the 2029 launch .

When the new station opens, it'll serve the growing population in Tung Chung East New Development Area, seamlessly linking the community
