- AdGuard didn't say the CSAM was fake, what was fake is the notion that archive.today knowingly hosted CSAM, because they didn't. WAAD never notified archive.today and their response does not say they ever sent such a notification directly to them.
- Just because AdGuard initially complied with blocks does not mean it's an "internal contradiction" they reversed their position. AdGuard just realized something was off and they made a mistake.

You know, if you can figure out the content that they've listed from their childishly "censored" screenshots, and if archive.today keeps any tabs on who uploads what, and it could be proven that, for example, the links they were reporting were all archived from French IP's that corelate with WAAD's, things could get really spicy.

WAAD arguing they're a "legally registered association" is a greer-ism if I've ever seen one. It's the sort of thing that can be technically true because you filed a form for your company that was properly formatted, but completely meaningless outside that. It's obviously trying to imply some greater meaning than just having a form of registration. Also adding they'd be "pleased to discuss all the facts and evidence before a judge", no sane person wants to be dragged in front of a judge for any reason.

archive.today does in fact record the IP addresses that submit requests. (They said so on their Tumblr blog but Tumblr is a shitty platform that's hard to search, can't be arsed to find it.)
