Yeah I gotcha. Exurbia and a woman named Pie dated in 2016. He manipulated her and drove her to insanity because of an "experiment" that he wanted her to help him run regarding synchronicity. During one of her episodes and while he was drunk, he physically overpowered her and committed SA. She was hospitalized for under a year and he continued to run the experiment on her. While she was in the hospital, he lured her away and committed SA once more. They broke up and he hid her in his videos for years, talking about ther relationship and the abuse in subtle ways. In 2025 he made a video called losing you that was all about her and in it he apologized and asked for forgiveness. In this video I cover what happened between them, the latest video and confessions he made to a mutual friend about the situation.

I know the video is long and it's a really complex story. It was hard for me to believe when I first heard it but Pie recorded everything. She shared it all with me and allowed me to tell her story.

The SA claims are not just claims either, the Bulgarian police reported that he did in fact commit these acts on her, but they didn't have any interest in cases revolving around SA and many countries feel the same so he was never charged or punished.

The video is about acceptance and forgiveness. Not to try to make him pay for what he did. It's been 9 years since it happened.

I hope that is enough. It barely scratches the surface if it all but I hope it helps.

Damn, I'll probably watch it, sucks to hear something like that(to put it lightly), his channel has always been something else, almsot revolutionary in a philosophical sense to me, thanks for the TL;DR

Yeah of course. I know how hard that is, I was there too once. I was given this information years ago so I don't feel as connected to him as I once did. But I remember how it felt when I first learned it.

I am not curious at all about any Alex and Pie. I don't know and I do not care who are Alex and Pie. I am here for the philosophy of Exurb1a and that's all. If Alex and Pie did something bad they can go to jail and that's totaly unrelated with Exurb1a work and that will not make me watch your video. If the work of Exurb1a will be publish from jail I will still read it because is unrelated with alex and pie and I will still not watch you video. That's because I do not care who Alex and Pie are.

I just noticed that you are the maker of the video so I went to your channel and I have to say, you may have an obsesion with this quest to cancel Exurb1a. You may have evidence that the guy is really bad and you should sue him if so (I will still not watch hours of drama to find out because I don't care who Alex and Pie are!), but you have to move on.

Ignorance?? Maybe on your side. You ignore the fact that the work of Exurb1a and what some Alex and Pie did to eachother 5 or 10 years ago are not related. So from my POV ignorance may be a heavy burden.

Bro, he keeps making videos that act as metaphors for what happened between then (with his own perspective and biases, evidently) while also using pie's poems without crediting her, such as in losing you and dear Nia

If it was completely unrelated then there probably wouldn't be as many people confused by this whole ordeal

Barry, I just wanna say, I think you're really brave for covering this whole situation and also helping pie get through it, going after a YouTuber with 6 million subscribers while helping a friend dealing with trauma is not even remotely easy.

Yeah, I agree, kudos for your courage, man, and thanks for your commitment to truth. It's really important, even if many people don't want to hear it. I am grateful for your work and dedication to this, and am glad someone is sharing Pie's story.

I'll watch your video later tonight, but i gotta say dude, I dug into this myself hard, years ago, and concluded that there was no real evidence to suggest the drama was anything more than a common spat between 20-something lovers blown way out of proportion due to a mix of things. But I'll happily revisit it and give you my thoughts.

Honestly, I relate in a way. I keep getting comments of people saying they support the art despite what the man has done but I just don't feel the same. When I found out about this years ago, that was it for me. I'm really sorry.

mostly good video but I really didnt like the "punish me pie, call me out on my bullshit" bit where you dressed as a turtle, or the multiple jokes you made about the situation. not really something to laugh about

I agree and honestly, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea at first. I asked Pie what she thought as I was working on it, shared the idea and she told me it was extremely healing for me to make these jokes. Made it feel less scary while also making fun of the insanity. I hope that makes sense.
