Hey there, I couldn't make heads or tails of most of this, but I tried my best with what there is to go on.

Mail 2:

Ran the first part through a binary translator, got:

¨PP"%•UR@€ Tøaˆ21†¾ûï€ ÀðaÆ  hcšûï¾@À€ƒ?À0@C˜1†@0€  €€€€À0u€|!t¶äþáÁ¸ƒ²ä 68 uTà  €À€à4`ÌaB$H€E„ @”yô

Though the ? diamonds looked more like cards with four numbers on them. If I had the patience I'd write out the tiny numbers I saw but I really don't feel like straining my eyes right now.

After running it through a morse code translator, then a binary translator, the second part was this link to an image of space:

https://www.google.com/sky/#latitude=-9.327208002579477&longitude=27.834623641223175&zoom=6&Spitzer=0.00&ChandraXO=0.00&Galex=0.00&IRAS=80.00&WMAP=0.00&Cassini=0.00&slide=1&mI=-1&oI=-1

Half of the star or whatever this is is blacked out.

Mail 3

Link to a Vocaroo, couldn’t get it open.

Mail 4    First part is a caesar cypher, 🠞13 (🠜13). Reads: Coverup . Exterminate . All    Then another Vocaroo.

   Mail 5

-72.717202, -78.670058 are coordinates to a rectangular ice sheet lookin thing off the coast of Smyley Island, Antarctica.

More Vocaroo.    https://s0.vocaroo.com/media/download_temp/Vocaroo_s0RSAW0qzkHm.mp3

Mail 6

Vocaroo

Mail 7    First part translated with the same caesar cypher as before:    Ending is near

Second part is a link to a pic of two lights shining in the dark. Eyes? Vehicle? Flatwoods Monster?

So. We’ve got the Illuminati, which was founded by Adam Weishaupt. A great danger from a “building with five corners,” so… a Pentagon. Ominous doomsday warnings about an extermination. Some connection to both space and Antarctica, and a spooky picture that may or may not be of an alien. Conclusion: I think this is an ARG about the government covering something to do with aliens that have a base in Antarctica. That or a conspiracy nut.

(Building is The Pentagon, which was dedicated on 15 Jan 43)

Yeah I got all of these back in the day and we managed to make the image in Mail 7 brighter and greater contrast showing the man further as well as seeing a forest in the background. It really sucks that I don't have access to the old email, because some of the other mails were much more interesting and led further down the rabbit hole as well as connecting to each other leading to various websites .onion which we never entered because we were too scared... I have no idea tho about mail 2. If we make the 1s to black squares we see this: https://imgur.com/a/8Qgc87I It looks kind of like a guy in the middle

It's just the Arecibo Message.

[–]I_write_pretty_well 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played around with the image and turning up the brightness reveals a man wearing some sort of red hat/helmet standing there. There is also a forest in the background, so the light might be some sort of floodlight or street lamp.

Edit: The binary code appears to be the Arecibo Message.

From a cursory search, it's not any of the ARGs listed on Wikipedia.. Maybe r/ARG could identify it based on some of the decrypted things we've found?

[–]jawide626 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Email 2 of the binary code; as i was scrolling down it looked like there was some sort of weird ascii art in it, idk if that's worth exploring rather than the literal translation of the binary itself?

Posting here because your post on UM got removed: Email Three leads to what looks like a vocaroo recording. I'm not dumb enough to click on a link this suspicious, so if one of you brave souls with a quality VPN wants to try, the site is https://s1.vocaroo.ccom/media/download_temp/Vocaroo_s1AZnyoTUKoo.mp3

The coordinates in 5 lead to a spot off the coast of Antarctica. Working on the morse.

[–]No_Investigator_1610[S] 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Oh im sorry i read your comment wrong my bad!

The vocaroo links were working when i got the emails, but they seemed to have expired

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Might be for the best lol. The Antarctica one is also a vocaroo link—probably safe to assume they all are. Edit: I'm stupid, didn't realize you'd already decoded the emails. Disregard everything I just said lmao

[–]No_Investigator_1610[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think i got 4 links total out of all the mails i got during the years, but i can only remember what was on one of them, the one i wrote about in the beginning of the post

[–]LivelyZebra 4 points5 points  (3 children)

"dasilluminatusweishaup" likely refers to Adam Weishaupt, the founder of the Illuminati,

[–]No_Investigator_1610[S] 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Yes i figured so aswell

[–]LivelyZebra 4 points5 points  (1 child)

The last email is binary.

Translating the binary gives random numbers.

[–]No_Investigator_1610[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of these are morse->binary->caesar cipher or link

[–]Yam0048 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The binary code looks to be the Arecibo message.

[–]olliegw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to say that, as a radio ham who knows morse, that doesn't look like morse code, but i realized it's actually 1's and 0's, so it looks like whoevers done this has nested encodings and ciphers

[–]WORhMnGd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn’t this a familiar ARG? I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of someone else posting here about getting emails with long pages of numbers, binary, Morse, and the the Arecibo message in their school email, and it was all vague Illuminati shit about killing all humans.

Maybe they mass sent them to everyone they could with that school email?
