One aspect of Pokémon Legends: Z-A we thought was "excellent" was the music. With this in mind, it's been announced the game's soundtrack will be getting a physical release in Japan on 17th April 2026.
It will include five CDs and a total of 148 tracks. The good news is this also extends to the game's DLC expansion Mega Dimension, which launched at the end of last year. Along with this, it comes with a full-colour 36-page booklet, and as a purchase bonus, there's a wire key ring featuring three acrylic charms.

"This is a complete version of 148 songs, including background music found in "Pokémon LEGENDS ZA" and "Pokémon LEGENDS ZA M-Dimension Rush," as well as past songs used in the games!"
There's no mention of a local release at this stage, but if we hear any updates (or pre-orders are made available elsewhere for local trainers), we'll share an update.
If you haven't already played Z-A or the Mega Dimension DLC, be sure to check out our reviews here on Nintendo Life. An update was also released for the title earlier this month, bumping the Switch and Switch 2 release up to Version 2.0.1.

That Jacinthe theme is going on loop
Graphics were janky. Soundtrack is on point though. So this is good merch
I do wonder if this will also come to the Nintendo Music app. Usually I buy some of these soundtracks via Play-Asia.com.
I do enjoy the Hyperspace Lumiose music so I will definitely try to get hold of this on iTunes assuming they sell it at some point.
Can we get a complete Switch 2 physical release to match?
Wait There's another tracks beside Lumiose city?
That's really cool, happy for those going for it (potentially me included at some point, but for now I'm looking forward to playing Legends Z-A myself when I can first and foremost) - fingers crossed this soundtrack comes sooner rather than later to Nintendo Music, too!
This game had more than one track? It's incredibly repetitive when traversing the city.
The game has five disks worth? Huh. Would be nice to hear it in game more often
Them feeling the need to put the game's logos for both the switch 1 & switch 2 versions is hilarious.
Omg yes I have to get this!!! Also... release the music on the App already!!
I may actually import a Pokemon CD just for Jacinthe alone
@Rob3008 It's surprising how much music is in games. Breath of the Wild's official soundtrack is also 5 discs, despite my recollection that there was hardly any music in the game outside of towns and combat.
Most of the games tracks are just ripped from the 3ds games and even the few new ones are so bland. Of course, the slop enjoyers will buy it so it will have no problem in sales.
