The spring 2021 anime adaptation of Shadows House is getting its home video releases handled by Aniplex Japan. The thirteen-episode series saw a six-volume release that began on June 23rd, 2021. Set for separate DVD and Blu-ray releases that are all limited editions, the DVD are priced at 6,000 yen for the first five while the sixth with a third episode is priced at 7,000 yen. The Blu-rays are priced at 7,000 yen and 8,000 yen respectively for the same layout.
With the second season, things have shifted a bit where both sets are still limited edition releases but the pricing is the same across the board with two episodes each. The DVDs are priced at 6,000 yen while the Blu-rays are at 7,000 yen.

Kazuki Ohashi directed it based on the scripts by Toshiya Ono. Chizuko Kusakabe is on board with the character designs with CloverWorks handling the animation production.
The leads are cast with Akari Kito as Kate and Yu Sasahara as Emiriko starring with Ayane Sakura as Louise / Lou, Kodai Sakai as John / Shaun, Reiji Kawashima who will play Patrick/ Ricky, Shino Shimoji as Shirley / Ram, Wataru Hatano as Edward, Saori Ōnishi as Sarah/Mia, Mai Nakahara as Maryrose/Rosemary, and Rie Kugimiya as Barbie/Barbara.
The manga comes from creator team So-ma-to which began in 2018 in Weekly Young Jump and has six volumes to its name so far as of October 2020.
The ending theme song is “Nai Nai” by ReoNa.

Plot Concept: Set in a Western-style mansion on a cliff and centers the aristocratic, it focuses on the faceless Shadow family. They live together with lifelike doll attendants who serve as their faces. The story focuses on the daily lives of the house’s inhabitants and gradually reveals its mysteries.
