On a recent school day last spring, sisters Iris Haun, 14, and Selene Haun, 10, crawled out of their beds around 9:30 a.m., washed dishes and made themselves a leisurely breakfast before straightening up their house. Next, they fed their guinea pigs. By then, it was 12:30, so they had lunch, and Selene jumped on the trampoline for a while.
