Quentin Griffiths, the 58-year-old co-founder of British online fashion retailer Asos, has died after falling from a balcony in Pattaya, Thailand.
Initial investigations suggested suicide

Griffiths had been alone in his room, which was locked from the inside, and there was no trace of any break-ins at the time of his death.
It was reported that police said a Thai friend of Griffiths had been quoted saying that the British national had been worried about lawsuits from his former wife, a Thai national.
He had reportedly been engaged in a legal dispute with her over a business they ran together, according to BBC.
Documents related to those lawsuits were found in his apartment.
Co-founded Asos in 2000
Griffiths co-founded Asos with Nick Robertson, Andrew Regan, and Deborah Thorpe in 2000, and remained a significant shareholder after leaving the firm five years later.
"We're saddened to hear about the passing of Quentin, one of our original co-founders. He played an important role in Asos's earliest days and we're forever grateful for his contribution. Our thoughts are with his family and friends," said an Asos spokesperson.
