No, the One-Eyed King in my novel is a fantasy version of a real man, Sitric Cuaran, who after the Vikings conquered it, centuries ago, ruled Ath Cliath, which would grow into the city of Dublin. It's part of the Ultimate Viking anthology for the #FateOfTheNorns roleplaying game.
