Before posting "you should use Z instead", have you perhaps considered that other people might just personally not like Z?
People are allowed to have different preferences and desires and priorities. That is part of what makes us human.
If you want to replace Y, *listen* to what the users of Y want. Otherwise you are just shouting into the void, and making them want to try Z even less.

@lina Don’t read into it. Usually, when people say “X sucks” they actually mean “I dislike X”. They just don’t know how or care to speak accurately. Or they actually mean ”I’m upset”. Animals bark and howl, humans say stupid shit. Feelings come first, then words are made up to fit.
