Sexual Abuse Prevention Program

These education modules contain references to sexual abuse and trauma. Please take care when reading and seek support if required.

Over the past several years, the College has seen a disturbing rise in sexual abuse-related complaints. Sexual abuse is one of the most egregious ways that registrants can harm clients and breach their professional obligations.

In an effort to address this alarming trend, the College has developed the Sexual Abuse Prevention Program (SAPP). The SAPP is available on the College website, and registrants are required to complete it as part of their Continuing Competence Program (CCP)(opens in a new tab).
