I've been wondering for the past few days. I know the situation might get better, but it's not only about the decrease in quality now.
We caused the Great Cuckset, but this only made part of the 4chan userbase migrate to us. Some were willing to assimilate, some not, waiting for the right time to strike. Now the log is worse than ever and 4chan refugees took advantage of that to secure a cultural foothold on our site.
Not to mention Quote will shut down the site in 2029, which means 4chan might also outlive us. Maybe we will find another imageboard to go on and develop a new culture, but popular imageboards always say that and it never happens. Around the time 8chan rebranded itself as 8kun everyone stopped giving a shit about them.
So 4cuck won against world2ch, Something Awful, 7chan, 8chan, and now they might win against us. Are we really this fucked?
