We got into this mess for a reason. It did not happen over night. Many people did not vote smartly, but rather blindly. I am saying, be picky, be informed, and make your choice selectively. You want blind votes, when we need educated voters.

Real crazy is doing something the exact same way every time, getting the exact awful results every time, and repeating this process endlessly, always expecting a different result. 
We have to learn to be picky when we enter a voting booth. We have to do our homework before entering a voting booth and not listen to the campaign slogans and the buzzwords. We cannot afford to vote blindly.
2 Questions to ask yourself before voting:
1) Who has this person been for the past 15 years, before they decided to run in an election?
2) What has this person been doing for the past 15 years, before they decided to run in an election?
These are important questions, because wealthy politicians often start working on their image long before they announce their candidacy. But that image is just that — a projected image, not the real person. When you make your choice, you want to know the real person. Be picky when you make your selection.

Real change and real accountability are progressive fundamental mindsets.
A lot of the time, the progressive will be a Democrat, but not always. Sometimes the progressive choice may be an Independent, a Green, or something else. If we're truly going to save our country, we need to be really picky when we vote at the ballot box — because who you vote for matters.
The dumbest argument is to “vote blue no matter who” — but who matters! Who you vote for matters!
If all we do is blindly vote for people who happen to have a “D” next to their name, we'll once again have corporate Democrats who will tell us, once again, that unity is more important than accountability, and who will once again try to work with these Pedophile Nazis.
Vote progressively, and be picky with your vote, because who you vote for most certainly matters!

Donald Trump has always been a symptom of a larger problem, and nothing is likely to get better until we actually have some uncomfortable conversations and address those problems.
Yes, the Republican Party is corrupt, but so is the Democratic Party, because we would never have experienced Donald Trump as president if the DNC had not ignored the will of the people. Both parties have put party before country. And I am reminded of that fact every time Hillary Clinton's smug face is in the news.
