Disable "pin required for additional security"

When I go to unlock my phone via biometrics, I end up getting the "pin required for additional security" message 1-3 times a day, seemingly completely random, and I would like to disable this random thing.
Why?
First off, I get this annoyingly too often, even when I'm mostly at home.
Second, I think it's the complete opposite of "secure", as people or cameras can easily see you putting in your pin and use it to unlock your phone.  As for biometrics (fingerprint), it's a lot more secure as everyone's fingerprints are unique and very very hard to replicate especially to use just to unlock a phone, because, you know, it's physically part of your finger.
Seeing as how a pin is not "additional security" in this context, and it's annoyingly random, I'd consider this as a bug and not a feature, and would like an option to disable this, or for this to be fixed so I can use my phone in a much safer and less annoying way.

Hello Spriest,

This isn't an answer to your issue, but it may help.  Have you tried using Extend Unlock to keep your phone unlocked while you're at home?  That can at least greatly reduce or even eliminate the problem while you're home.

That does help a bit, but I still hope this issue overall will get fixed for all future android versions.

Update:  I still get the issue while at home with Extend Lock on.

Spriest,

You can also use your phone to submit your request for this feature via feedback:

Settings > About phone > Send feedback about this device

Although you won't receive a response unless additional input is needed, unlike this user to user forum, your feedback request will go to a place where it will be heard by the development team.

Best,

Spriest,

Extend Unlock expires after 4 hours of inactivity, and requires that you log in again.
