People have given me shit for saying "Tie-flings" (Tie as in bow tie). Just like it took me years to try and stop saying "Spot Check" I also misread Genasi as "Gensai" and called them that for years... And Morden-kai-nen...thanks to the old 8-bit skit "D&D...Satans Game"

And that's perfectly okay. There are lots of folk living in Faerûn who pronounce it that way. You're not wrong. #Realmslore

Someone not badmouthing and ridiculing potential customers.. That really is a fantasy concept these days. I've always said it "Myth Drah-NOR"

I handle it that everyone is actually speaking Draconic so everyone has the different shifts also! The nice dragons came down and sketch out a language for the people REALLY early on.

Its always smart to be polite to the heavily armed and trigger happy adventurers Sure the city guard might come and kill/imprison them later, but you're still a stain on the floor. So when the Drow sounds like Bow discourse starts up, just nod and smile 😅

I have the habit of saying names as if they were written phonetically, sometimes at least, Cormyr as /kɔˈmyə/ just as an example

Mordenkainen was from Greyhawk, I thought, but then I remembered that traveling between the settings was a real thing too.
