Gamma seems to be better at killing groups but mactera become suffering.
HH (Heil Hitler) can dispatch these in 2 shots, unless its a brindle... And the projectile travel time makes hitting stuff at range kinda hard.

I want something that can be set & forget.
with HH I just take a charged sludge shit all over the floor, then double tap the green acid diarrhea and turn my back on the bugs, they're already dead, they just don't know it yet.
with GC I still need to tag all bugs and the proc rate is only 25% so sometimes you don't even proc it before they die.

Which is why I never revive players who use Steeve unless it's convenient for me. Using Steeve is one of the best signs that the player is a shitter and isn't worth picking up. You wanna stay alive so badly? Teach your bug to give you chest compressions scrub, or better yet take a useful perk instead of the one where you create a bug that does nothing but get in the way or runs off to 1v1 a grunt a mile away while you're getting a train run on you by slashers.

No, since season 6 was made by a third party studio the devteam agreed they won't change balance.
Regarding the new season after like 3 hours of gameplay:
+ new framework is clean, I like it
+ new zone looks good
- seasonal event is boring as fuck, it generates the nearly exact same side room each time
- new mission type feels like half a mission, you'd expect some epic chungus ending but it just abruptly ends. its basically HALF of the resonance scan mission
- trapjaws are barely visible, who thought it was good idea to make brown enemies burried in brown ground?
Season feels very underwhelming, I'll probably just speedrun my way till level 100 season pass and drop it to come back for seaon 7 in 2029.

Nailed it. I'll add that the scrabs are honestly pretty lame. They barely attack, and feel like filler enemies. I mean I started playing today and I already downed 1800 of them, while they did barely any damage to me.
The lack of even a single new OC hurts a lot tho, there are no gameplay changes except that now you gotta watch out for cancer laying underground.

I already almost always run with Heightened Senses, but with pit jaws that shit is absolutely mandatory. Saved my ass multiple times.
Anyway I'm confident pit jaws will receive some nerf soon enough. The fact that they don't outright kill you differently from leeches tells that they realized it was too much. I think they wouldn't even be THAT bad if they went down easily. The fact that they escape is pure bullshit.

For whatever reason, everyone ignores the drones it spawns, and they do enough dmg to 1-shot anyone on the team on higher hazards. They're not even tanky, I think people are just too used to engineer turrets taking them out to realize they even exist.

You can ping each layer of the tower to check what its loadout is before everyone inserts the batteries and activates it. If you see the drone replicator, don't hesitate to warn everyone about it.

Do not rely on the engineer to place platforms above the pads at the correct height, the plasma caster will melt through the platforms and drop you into its range if the engineer doesn't place them high enough, and if he places them too high, you can't activate the DDR pads to reveal the tower's weakpoints.

You only need to stand on the pad to unlock a layer's weakspots, you don't need to stay standing on it. Once they're revealed, they stay revealed for about 5-10 seconds or so, during which point you can dodge or reposition.

You can call molly onto one of the pads or deploy a resupply right next to one to avoid the plasma caster's lines, while still being within viable range of the DDR pad's detection, no engineer platform autism required.

I've been playing since 2019. 3300hrs, most of it logged during covid, though DRG is still my favorite multiplayer game and I regularly play it since it's easy to dip in and out of when I have free time.

I didn't promote dwarves for a long time BUT I also regularly play on modded servers where you level up after 3-4 missions so my time to level ratio is a little skewed BUT that doesn't really affect class/player level since you stop going up in blue levels if you don't promote.

So is the guy legit? I am, and the total levels (1887) don't really match up with the promoted levels (204) in my opinion, since I'm 2615 blue/239 total which means he's got a ratio of (1887/204=) 9.25 to my (2615/239=) 10.94. Unless levelling was different a few years ago or all the way back in 2019 and you still gained player levels when you stopped promoting (which I don't think was ever the case), he should be in the 10.xx range.

That's just my take on it, I could totally be talking out my ass, but I would say there's been some file editing on their part.

If you ever stop firing, even for a moment, then your counting method is off and different builds generate/lose different amounts of heat, compounding the first issue of it being unreliable.

Armor break is essentially worthless in this game because the number of enemies that even have breakable armor has massively decreased over time because they don't even bother to try and make new enemies with it anymore or they have very specific armor points that'll break anyways.

>brundle - shooting at their chest will expose it anyways

If you're not taking armor break on M1K you're trolling. Shooting any heavy armor plating like praets will do 0 damage until the plate breaks which can take 3 focus shots. With armor break it always punches through and does damage on the first hipfire shot. There's also stingtails and shellbacks which are some of the most dangerous enemies in the game. It also impacts your breakpoints on some other bugs for example you can't kill acid spitters in 1 focus shot which is a big one for scout. Less recoil or faster focus are not worth it.

AFAIK there hasn't been an adjustment to modifiers beyond them being tied to which season you have active. EG lithophage/rival robots/etc mods show up more frequently while you have the related season. Sometimes it will even hide/present certain modifiers if you don't/do have seasons selected. An example of this can be seen where you might look at a lobby list of the same mission but one will have a modifier like lithophages active and others don't because the host's selected season.
[THEORY AHEAD] The problem with all these modifiers is the hiding part. As they add more of these seasonal bound ones it dilutes the pool and if your active season hides them then then that would mean many of them end up getting blanked and thus it appears like there's more missions without modifiers.
My personal anecdote from playing for years too is that it doesn't really feel like there's any less modifiers, but less modifiers of the ones I want to see because of the general increase of them over time. Which could lead to a bias in which you acknowledge.

Gunner can carry with any primary as long as you keep a CC status secondary weapon for safety, like fear coil or stun magic bullets. The bulldog stun applies to magic bullets terrain explosions too so just shoot the floor while gtfo

Big Bertha is good, but you're kinda forced to take ammo and having to deal with the 55 ammo mag, gotta milk born ready all the time. Sadly yes, the weapon needs some buffs. Specially accuracy, reload speed and less mag penalty for some OCs

Autocannon is shit no matter how you build it. Gunner is supposed to be able to deal with any threat and autocannon always has to sacrifice something. Big Bertha is the only OC that improves its atrocious accuracy and it's still terrible and comes at the cost of ammo efficiency and fear if you want to max out your damage. Mortar is great at wave clear but is underwhelming against big targets, helpless against mactera, and has a fixed range. NTP makes a lot of space but you are relying on your team to deal with all the HVTs by themselves. The other OCs are so bad they're not even worth mentioning. Hurricane and Leadstorm do not have these problems. If it didn't have fear it would be a troll pick. Autocannon is a retard magnet and if haz 5 wasn't piss easy its shortcomings would be immediately apparent.

I've heard it's statistically pretty weak for an OC, but it's still fun to magdump a swarm of grunts with it.

The electric damage done is 135 in total (6s ÷ 0.2s/tick= 30t, 30t x 4.5dmg/tick= 135dmg). While your base focus shot damage is reduced by 25%.
T3A technically makes this a wash in damage, which you're almost certainly taking taking anyway, so think of it as you basically skipping your T3 mod.
The theory is that you can shoot any part of the body to inflict the status similar to marked for death OC and then get a guaranteed amount of damage over 6s. However it has the same issue as any other DOT where you really don't have the time or someone else wants/needs to shoot that target making the DOT kind of moot.
There's also electric synergies but that's not always applicable so that's hit or miss.
It's useful if you're a shit/lazy shot but ultimately you would rather just do the dmg all upfront. And if you want the playstyle of lazy shots you might as well just use MfD OC in a team setting. It's a decent set of training wheels until you gitgud at aiming or decide to never gitgud.

It really only shines with cryo bolts. You want 23211.
Breakpoints aren't as good as focus builds and TTK is longer for bugs that need to be frozen first but in return you're getting a larger mag, higher firerate, better recoil, and more ammo. It's a fun carry build for high level difficulties. You can play the HVT killer role as usual spamming hipfire instead of focus but you can wave clear in a pinch by freezing packs of bugs and using blowthrough to shred through them. Use the stun to lock hard to hit enemies in place or to keep praets from vomiting while you mag dump into them.

It is kind of shocking that they don't have any sort of logic to them that they're able to relocate anywhere. No it's good. Run 1111X. It's sorta similar to executioner where you want to focus ranged bugs but it's rapid fire. It can cut through a wave of mactera and acid spitters extremely quickly at the cost of worse ammo economy and it falls off a bit against tankier enemies.
