linux can run most windows games and binaries if it doesn't have cucked drm or anticheat. valve has been developing proton (wine fork) so their devices could use linux instead of windows.
the only games that don't work are mostly slop multiplayer games like fortnite or cod. Some games may need a little tweaking, which protondb could help with.
