I think my kids will love this game, I will get it for them and keep the evil dead / Texas chainsaw for myself.

Looks good to me. I like Junkyard.
And I prefer two flipper games, so this should be fun to drop quarters into on location.
Have the dropped the comparison guide? Just wondering what is in the premium that is not in the pro?
Home run! The fact that the Poké ball wobbles like it should is awesome. We got three full moving mechs in this game. I think Stern listened to its fans on this one.
Fans of Junkyard are going to love it. Looks boring as hell to me. I'm sure it will kill at locations with a lot of kids.
Quoted from Wazza85:No. LE is already sold out.
Nope, there will be some.

This is a great call out. The LE looks incredible but I think the Pro art package might be the best rounded IMO but certainly #2 for me. I dont plan to buy but.... but... if the Pro has all the sculps of the Prem/LE with less functionality I could see the Pro moving serious units.
I would imagine every single operator or locations with pinball will want this in their lineup. Stern is going to cleanup with Pro's. Any Pokemon trim sitting next to any Harry Potter pin is going to pull in quarters.

Could be the start of a new era focused on kid friendly licenses.
I was hoping the official high-res playfield photos would reveal some aspect or shot I didn't notice before. Looks basically like kiddie pinball 101, which is fine for this theme, just not my taste. Pro is about one mech away from the Costco model, which might end up being the best value.
Code and achievements are gonna have to carry the weight.
This looks like a winner for fans of the franchise and a great family gameroom addition. Excited to see how involved the code is for more experienced players but Stern accomplished the goal here already

I know you lose the pop up scoop, poke ball doesn’t move nor does pikachu
Quoted from dfsays:Could be the start of a new era focused on kid friendly licenses.
Might not be a bad business model, considering many pinball buyers are grandparents now and location pinball is becoming a thing again. I wouldn't expect manufacturers to replace games with kids games, but someone the size of Stern could work in a theme like this probably every 18-24 months .. if the market responds.
Plus, these manufacturers need to get new generations into the hobby somehow. A sprinkle of theme appropriate games could be a risk worth taking on.

i mention differences in the intro of the gameplay.
pro missing
animated pika and poke sculpt
no magnet under meowth ballon
no pop up ramp / scoop under pokeball
no psyduck sneak shot scoop
no squirtle bowl

Nice Vic, you appear to be first out the gate. Watching now
edit. This sounds like a Danesi riff in the background here? Does anyone recognize this as some synthesized Pokemon score?

Quoted from vic_vp:all 3 gameplays will go live today and several shorts during the week
I don't know who this is, but is it weird I am taking his feedback more seriously because he is wearing a Contra Hard Corps shirt while doing it?

ya'll killed it.. So good for the hobby.. My nephews can't wait to play it!

My 16 year old will want to play the hell out of this one, congrats to the team. I love the audio package all around. The announcer, the sound effects, the music it for sure feels like Pokemon watching Vic's video.
For what its worth too, I like seeing a pop bumper cluster for once haha. I do appreciate when they're not there for modern sake but when you hear that cluster fire, it sounds like classic pinball.
Looks like there are 182 Pokemon in the game? From Vic's video when it shows the Pokedex. This looks great as someone who's played the games since Yellow, and my kids are super excited!
I just saw the Pokedex shows 182 possible? The sound package is so goofy and retro game inspired... I'm in on a premium.
Quoted from KirkDS:I know nothing about Pokemon, but this looks like a fun one
Me neither, I started to watch the cartoon
Saw episode 1 season 1 for 5-10 mins, looks intersting.
never got into Pokemon despite being a huge RPG fan. Gotta admit this looks cool. I bet the code will be fun

Pro is missing a lot, suppose it could shoot good still but yea
Quoted from CrazyLevi:There's no room for toxic hate here!
Can't be true you're in here
Pro might be the only option for us. Those swirl ramps slow things down so much I don’t enjoy them. Glad it’s not on all three models. Mustang and even cftl after while was tiresome with how it stopped flow. Mustang I seemed to hit that ramp all the time to watch it spin

Standing back, I do tip my cap to Stern for seemingly doing both Dungeons and Dragons and Pokemon justice. No manufacturer is perfect but these are both incredibly rich universes with decades of fandom around them. The criticism for getting it wrong could have been colossal. Despite that, Stern seems to have respected both RPG universes in their own vacuums.
It's no KONG but it looks more fun than FOTE. I kind of wish they swapped games and made this the FOTE as I personally connect with SW more. Regardless it looks like the video assets are top, Pokemon fans will have to confirm this.. Call outs need work. Feels a little empty right now but that's an easy fix. This is the kind of game where a PRO shines. Will have to see how different the gameplay is on Pro vs Premium although I won't be buying this NIB anyhow. Overall looks fun and easy to shoot
Super approachable... seven year old will absolutely love it! Hopefully all future games are super family orientated and kid friendly!
Quoted from gnocchi_pesto:They need to add Japanese voice option here, like GZ.
If they patched this in later, it would be a way to pull in purists for sure.
How many Pokemon can you catch? I'm hoping for a full Pokedex, but even gen 1 through 3 or 4 would be nice (like 700ish Pokemon).
Idk I'm kinda disappointed I don't really get the hype after this reveal. HP might have ruined new releases for me, this looks tame in comparison.

Ooh, I missed that detail. Totally agree on the swirl ramps. They can be fun strategically during multiball, but otherwise slow the game down unnecessarily.
But only on the LE/Prem models, so yay. Glad I'll mostly see Pros on location!

currently lcd shows "5 of 182" collected
4 are the main poke and then you collect during gameplay
Quoted from vic_vp:all 3 gameplays will go live today and several shorts during the week
The sound and voice work is a bit grating but overall the game does do the job of being adorable.
Whoever lands me an LE at MSRP will get an invite to my house for the unboxing with hookers and coke.
Quoted from Fsdre:[quoted image]
Stern never ceases to amaze with how they make a big deal about even the smallest on their feature matrix's. Might as well list bolts, and screws.
Quoted from DeadFlip:Currently 180+ in the game with a TON more to come obviously.
pending licensor approval

182 is such a weird number.
