A president who tilts at windmills, how quixotic, Wind energy is one of the least expensive sources of energy, as free as fresh sunlight of which wind is a byproduct Humans have been using wind energy for over 7000 years. We know it works. The first vessel to circumnavigate the globe did it with wind energy. My mom used wind and solar power to dry laundry. Sure, the wind doesn't blow all the time but even ancient humans developed alternatives to use when the wind refused to blow. Oars could be used to move ships and livestock could still get mills to turn. Most of the environmental damage from wind comes from hurricanes and tornadoes, not windmills. This president's overwhelming ignorance about almost everything is why he should never have been elected a first time, much less a second. He STILL thinks foreign countries pay his tariffs! He thinks water stops magnets from working. He thinks his father was born in Germany. The only things he truly understands are grifting and media manipulation.

You are dead wrong there.
The United States produces enough crude oil to technically meet its own consumption needs, often operating as a top global producer.

Trump is right again. Wind is not a good option for large scale electrical generation. It is a niche solution. It harms the environment far more than it benefits.

The Union of Concerned scientists disagree with your claim, stating that "Wind power is an excellent and increasingly dominant option for large-scale electricity generation, offering a clean, cost-effective, and highly efficient renewable source. It is widely used to replace fossil fuels, with large offshore/onshore farms capable of generating significant power"
Wind already contributes significantly to global electricity (e.g., 42% in Denmark). It is capable of meeting a substantial portion of global electricity demand.

The Union of Concerned Scientists loved the green new money tree. Wind falls. Solar shines. Windmills are very high maintenance. Solar is the future.edited

One thing which i rarely hear mentioned regarding wind and solar:
Wind has been used for both direct mechanical power and electric generation in many parts of the USA for many years. Note the presence of windmills for pumping, and small scale horizontal and vertical axis wind plants which have been used in rural and other remote, off grid areas for generations, literally. This eliminates the need for many small households, agricultural, research, and recreational facilities to have the grid infrastructure for daily operations.
We just have an administration, unfortunately, which is much more interested in piling up their own wealth than creating a sustainable future.....
