Residents say they want an aquatic center. Will Cumberland County deliver?

For several years, Cumberland County and some of its municipalities, including Fayetteville and Hope Mills, have discussed the construction of an aquatic center.

Following a stakeholder meeting last year, the county has now identified priorities for a facility feasibility study, according to a Jan. 5 news release from the county.

Those priorities are divided into four categories.
