More than likely this is just the result of phishing, no idea why or how, though.
There's a ton of potentially copyrighted stuff in there (i.e a crap ton of anime), so maybe this is an attempt to get the channel deleted? That or they're using the account to rack up views through these clips before privating them and using the account for other means afterwards.
All in all, enable two-factor authentication and don't believe in those "Your YouTube account has been locked, enter your password" emails.

This person had normal vids, so i don't think he did it for views. I actually think that this could be done by a group of people, 7000 videos in one / two days, from a few minutes to even an hour? . Two factor is really good, without it i wouldn't have my Playstation account anymore :)

Oh no, I meant that if someone else got access to the channel, THAT person might be posting these random videos for either deletion or view manipulation. Not the original owner!
But I do agree that it might be a group or company if those videos are being posted at such a high rate. If that's the case, I might just lean towards said company using the channel for their own purposes (and for some sweet cash)

privateering videos will delete your views
Edit: Or should I say changing the way your videos are found will delete your views.

Will they? That must've been a recent change cause I swore the views were still kept.. Oh well

I know a little about this.
Those channels are hacked by russian people. How they do it? They contact some channels on gmail asking them to show a product or a web, and when they click on the link a spyware extension is installed (almost always size a lot, and had the name of AdBlock). They use this method on active channels. With the ones who don't post videos fecuently, I guess they use the same thing but camouflaged in Youtube adds in those asian videos. They work at night, when you are sleeping, and change the password of your accounts.
After they got your channel and you don't answer them, they use to upload the SAME VIDEOS of japanese tv shows or asian webcams (this webcams are hacked too, much likely from the secret cam that most smart tv had) to gain money putting adds in those videos that are ultra long. You can try to put one of those videos on google and you will find HUNDREDS of channels hacked from different countries and all.
If you answer them with another account (because these assholes just put a comment in one of the japanese videos they uploded after hacking you) they will demand bitcoins for your channel. Usually the hacker say that they send him to do it, so I can asume that most of the "hackers" just don't give a fuck about it lol. If you don't pay them, they will upload porn videos or gore pedo shit and youtube will delate the account. Even copyright things like the image you posted. Probably they will steal everything they can too, like info of your credit cards or personal information to threat you, even texting you on your phone with bad english lol
Edit: I forgot to tell you that sometimes this people are from arabia and that they could sell you channel to another person too
How do I know this? A lot of Spanish channels are being hacked by this little fuckers, and I was currently working on the smart tv cam rabbit hole, and all this was confirmed by one hispanic dude that lost his channel by this method.
Sorry for my english but I can't think well at this hours. Hope this will help :) be careful!

What in the actual fuu... That's a really sneaky way of hijacking the channel. I feel bad for the creators though, well, for ones that actually put effort, time a d love into the videos they are making. And TV cameras? Shit, i have to check on one in my room.

yeah, almost all the new smart tv had little cameras. Wikileaks leaked this I think not so long ago, and that how these scumbags got that strange videos of people washing the dishes for hours and etc, these people don't know they are being recorded, they are just watching tv or even just doing other things or working while the tv is there. Those extra long 9h adds that can be found time to time on youtube are made by this russian fellas. How they hack the tv's? That's what I really wanna know. Probably those people used the tv google and got some spyware because the smart tv had no protection at all. If you know anything more about this anyone contact me please.

This is some Fucking bullshit. I did not connect it to wifi, so i Hope i can't be seen, and in first place my tv doesn't have a camera. This word is slowly turning into a really big "Big Brother" show. That is f'd up.

Yeah, i think as long as you don't conect it to the internet nothing can happen. I mean, that stolen videos are showing asian people, and South Korea are the top country of having the tv conected on the internet.

Make sure there aren't any open networks in your area because the TVs will autoconnect to those without your knowledge. The only safe way to have a smart TV in your house is to have it in a room that's air gapped and is also a Faraday cage.

and this is not new, right? I read this story (fake ad email) twitter several months back, where active channels were tagging YT support to recover back their hacked channel. I'm not sure if some of them retrieve their channels.

For what I know this started years ago. YouTube don't help the owners because they don't give a fuck, I know only 2 cases when those people got their channels back, they needed to contact YouTube from Twitter and do some stupid photo shit.

I recently got a link sent to my Twitter DM. It was something that looked slightly like the beginning of a regular YT vid, but it was different. I started typing in the URL to check and see what it was about because the person had ostensibly also sent me a link to what "they" assumed would be my IG name mixed with theirs. After I read, but didn't reply is when I got the YT link.
I got nothing for the IG thing because I think I'd need the entire url to see how it's done, but the YT one would have logged me out and taken my YT channel. I decided to talk to the guy who sent it as I haven't been using that account on Twitter for some time, but I had followed him, and he didn't display bot type behavior.
He actually seemed pretty frustrated. I guess he clicked a similar link (one would guess for Twitter or he picked up something from a 3rd party app. He spoke English well, but I don't think it was his first language, so I'm not exactly sure what the story is), but his account proceeded to DM his followers. All of them.
Could he be lying, and I'm just naive? I mean yeah, but his frustration seemed pretty palpable As he was receiving (again according to him) mass DMs asking wtf he was doing.
Which prompted me to say something on the Twitter account I currently use and warn people to not click links in DMs even if it's from people you trust. Ask them to verify what it is if it has a link to a social media platform.
Also to wtf YT and Google since apparently this has been an issue since at least April of this year, and the only thing they have done is lock the discussion board. Pretty messed up.
∆ the discussion board.
Considering what I just said about clicking on links from unknowns, you can also type
account. youtube. com / accounts / Set
∆ the above into Google sans the spaces and the first topic tells about it. There is some talk about it being Chinese and/or Russian origin iirc.
Trust no one basically.

Just to add, I’m not sure what the channel was before but I found in my sub box today a channel that posted several videos of Fox News segments everyday since five days ago and the channel name had something to do with being pro-Trump.

I remember this happening a while back to a channel I was following, it's really stupid but not necessarily weird

Wygląda na hijack konta przez grupe trolli, albo jak mówiłeś jakiejś firmy. Przypomina mi te typowe "firmy" co za pieniądze niszczą komuś kanał. (This looks like an account hijack by some trolls or like you said a company. It reminds me those "companies" which ruin channels for money.)

polish comment 'cause the channel is polish :p
Teraz tego kanału nie można nawet znaleźć, więc chyba im się udało. Pewnie wstawili na ten kanał masę filmików objętych prawem autorskim żeby YouTube musiało go usunąć. Pytanie tylko dlaczego to zrobili, dlaczego akurat on?

Czasami są bogate neckbeardy, które nie lubią jakiegoś kanału przez byle gówno i wynajmują hakerów żeby zniszczyli kanał.
