What a timely verse, as Taiheiyo Church recently made a donation to Shinsei Uganda Mission Station, to install a village water pump. The labor is all hinokishin by locals, but the equipment and cement needed to build the well costs money. This allows villagers to access water without having to travel long distances to fill buckets at a stream.

The hinokishin team there can build more wells for various villages as funding is secured. Those interested in supporting this cause may send donations to Taiheiyo Church and write “Uganda water” in the memo.
