Recision letter a week before EOD
I EOD next monday and have already given notice to work that I will be leaving. They sent an email today saying the following: “Your eligibility was be based solely on your responses to minimum qualification questions and was not reviewed by a Human Resources Specialist to determine accuracy at the time of application. A final eligibility and qualification review was conducted, and it has been determined that you do not meet the minimum qualification of specialized experience and/or general experience requirement for the position; therefore, the offer of employment is rescinded. “ I went back and read over my application and the listing requirements and nothing is wrong with either. I do meet all the requirements, already have a clearance from my current LE job, no arrests or failed polygraphs ever, no civil disputes, not over 40 or anything. I heard some people are getting this in error? Does anyone know because I feel like this was in error. Edit: talked to my current boss and he will have me back if all falls through, very very grateful to him for that. Emailed every ice.gov email I had and could find with no response yet. I read through my application again and nothing is inaccurate or something that should DQ me. Did an online case search on my name to make sure I don’t have any warrants or court orders and shocker: nothing. Still no clue what caused this and hope nobody else gets DQ’d for nothing

CBP extended theirs to 40 a few years ago.
