So people are getting DQ for failing their poly more than 2 years ago, what about for the people who withdrew during it?
So I withdrew from taking the poly in 2018 because the poly instructor recommended. He told me I shouldn’t take the poly. So at the end of the appointment, I didn’t do the poly with him and he asked me a scenario question and wrote down my reply. I left and received a email stating the following from CBP “your tentative offer of employment is withdrawn because you have been deemed unsuitable for the position pursuant to 5 C.F.R. Part 731.” That was all in 2018. Do you guys think this will affect my offer from ICE? I only received a TJO and a current non Leo DHS employee. Thanks,

Did you actually sit for the poly?

I sat and he was like no, this won’t work and told me not to continue.

It’s really just luck of the draw at this point. It’s going to depend on the mood of the PSD person reviewing your case

I read somewhere on Reddit a person got dq’ed for a failed poly taken on 2022 which is ridiculous so I don’t know what criteria is it that they are seeking 🤷🏻‍♂️
