Anyone getting any traction from NYC? , uploaded everything after my TJO 8/24 but radio silence since no drug test, fingerprints or background as of now yes I know it can take as long as it takes but wanted to see how everyone is doing And if you already had your EOD how’s the office and stuff on the ground so far?

My guess is they trying to get a large group to come in together so they still vetting but slower since NYC also isn’t top priority.

Would think NY is priority given the fact nobody wants to work there with the cost of living and just the sheer size of populous in the AOR 🤷🏻‍♂️

New classes are coming in every pay period, 2 weeks. The 9/07 was about 60 and 9/21 about 50. So people are getting hired. The morale is mission oriented as there are objectives that need to be met. If you like learning immigration law and understand the volumes of people who will be against the job then you’ll be able to dig in the role. As new coming in it’s all about getting paperwork done and committed to getting to fletc and completing training.

NYC 8/20 TJO, 9/9 sf86/fingerprints, Drug test today 9/25. I wouldn’t be so hopeful if still nothing after all this time…

TJO no FJO . I am previous NYS corrections. Got offered GL-7 It has a nys academy and municiple police training. 21'st came no contact ........ Saw a thread for the [eroacademyrosters@ice.dhs.gov](mailto:eroacademyrosters@ice.dhs.gov) and heard they will get in contact fast and they did. Next day I got a call with an offer and new start date of Oct. 6th for NEO.

What’s nyc office like? Typical hours? Any insight to pay scale, assuming it’s a busy office is there a lot of OT?

Anyone EOD @ NY field office yet? If so, what has your experience been- are you mostly out in the field or office??
