The issue is that he doesn't admit that he was wrong. He instead pleads ignorance. Impopular opinion (cause it seems i'm the only one defending ponyposting geg) but heard me out.
Heres a list of my arguments to shorten proto's ban duration or aleast reconsider it.
1. He was going some good OC, and actually decent drawings, he even heard the foo's critiques and improved his averi drawing. (Which means he actually cares about the site focus [to some extend atleast]) 
2. The bans reasons imo seems like nothing burgers tho I didn't saw the last picture that got him permabaned (i heard it was pinkie pie in a weird pose?), but the other previous bans are for really silly reasons.   
3. There's people here that have done significally worst stuff that proto (I don't intent to compare cases nor reactivate old drama so i won't mention any specific cases but as a reminder that almost every namefag here has a whole article in sncapedia)
4. This sets a dangerous precedent that allows for banning people we rover and lachlan dont personally like. Yeah, Proto was kinda annoying sometimes by playing dumb when being called out but thats probably his autemit or something. Dont judge people based on how they type but how they act o algo.
