(NewsNation) — 50 Cent has taken trolling Sean “Diddy” Combs to a new level: The Super Bowl.
50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, partnered with DoorDash for its latest Super Bowl “Big Beef” commercial.
The food delivery company released its latest ad on Thursday, ahead of Sunday’s big game, showing the rapper sitting down, pulling items out of a bag that are seemingly connected to Combs.
“It’s come to my attention that everyone’s calling me a troll. Some say even the king of trolls,” the “Candy Shop” performer says, before pulling out a large DoorDash bag.
“Don’t want to be too obvious,” he says while picking up a bag of Cheese Puffs, a reference to Combs’ “Puff Daddy” persona, the G-Unit rapper then pulls out a comb at the bottom. “They sell combs, what a coincidence,” he says before laughing.
In a statement to Billboard, 50 Cent said DoorDash approached him about the campaign, saying it “felt authentic.”
“They’ve got everything you need, and just like with beef, the receipts speak for themselves.”
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sentenced to prison
Combs was sentenced to four years and two months behind bars in October after he was convicted of two prostitution related charges, plus a fine of $500,000.
He was acquitted of larger racketeering charges but was convicted on two prostitution charges related to the Mann Act. He was facing a maximum penalty of 20 years behind bars.
In December, Netflix released a four-part docuseries titled “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” executive produced by 50 Cent, which was billed as “a staggering examination of the media mogul, music legend and convicted offender.”
