is a liar and a bully. Let me explain.
Over the past year have watched my former students be continually harassed and threatened by Patricia Taxxon. 1/
She has a vendetta against Luka and Jules because I advised them to cut her music from their final film when Patricia started exhibiting alarming (and quite frankly dangerous) behaviors online. 2/
Her endless campaigning against Luka and Jules has forced me to intervene and make these post. So let’s clear some things up. I was the faculty member who oversaw this production. I viewed all the communication with Patricia and she is lying. 3/
It was clear from the beginning that this was an unpaid student project. I don’t know why she is choosing to lie about this. I have copies of the agreements between the students and Patricia and at no point in time did they offer her pay as a contractor and it was clear this was a collaboration. 4/

Patricia is trying to frame this as something it’s not. And I am tired of watching her lie and trying to rally her fans in a campaign of harassment.
Was she one of the students? What is preventing you from sharing those agreements?
Jules reached out to Patricia to collaborate on a student project. It was clear from the beginning that Jules *could not pay*. I was there for the conversations. This was framed as an unpaid creative collaboration between all involved. Patricia agreed. 1/
"Talent is an independent contractor" really does not strike me as non-paying. I would honestly expect that if there was an expectation of no payment, that it would've been explicitly mentioned that it's an unpaid position, rather than one of an independent contractor.
She was told explicitly there was no payment by both students. Again these were conversation they had with Patricia which she is conveniently not mentioning. That’s why there’s no mention of payment on the agreement. They had already discussed the fact it was a student film with no pay.
I find that believable, but the lack of mention of payment in an agreement isn't exactly airtight. If it was clear there'd be no payment, that fact should've been in the agreement. As it is, it's ambiguous if payment should've been expected sometime later.
Also might be important to mention that in this agreement Patricia retains all rights to her music and even retains commercial licensing rights after the films initial festival run. This isn’t typical in a paid contact. In a paid contract Jules would own the music.
