Hi, i have a referral code if anyone wants to use it, you will get a €50 discount on your first purchase from Tenways:

Is that right? I'm also interested in buying the AGO X but on the Tenways website it says that the M is for people between 160-175cm while the L is for people between 170-185cm. I'm 177cm tall (5'10") so based on the website info i should be getting the L. But you're recommending the M. I'm pretty confused and also there are no Tenways shops in my area so i've no idea which one to order.
There are people my height on this sub who told me that they felt more comfortable on the L, there was one however who told me that the Medium fits him better. It's frustrating to be right in between M and L and not know what to choose. I made this post about a year ago and look at the comments there were people saying they felt better on the Large. Recently, about 2 weeks ago i finally decided i was going to purchase the bike online, so i sent Tenways a mail asking them for advice on the sizing. They said I should pick the Medium...I'm beyond confused..
Most likely M for you. I'm 177cm/5'10 and i've no idea which size to choose between M and L for the CGO600 PRO, and i cant take it for a ride before buying because they have no shops here in my city. I'm leaning towards the M but i'm not sure..i heard conflicting answers from people with my height which makes me very confused.
Yesterday i made a deposit of 100$ and played a bit. Today i woke up with in my account.
-
Where did this money come from? Is this the award because i got coolered massively yesterday? (lost TTT vs KKK, then quads vs quads). Or did it come from somewhere else?
-
Is it actually real money? Can i used to play cash games and withdraw it etc?
From the comments here, including myself, most people actually prefer the belt drive.
Right, but i get the feeling that the vast majority of people who own the belt drive, did not test the one with a chain at all, since it came out at a later date. So almost every answer here is based, no one wants to feel like they made the wrong choice and im trying to be as objective as possible, ive made research for months and compared both bikes a lot and i just cant see how the Pro is better than the Plus in any way. Yes, there are cool aspects with the Pro but i do feel the Plus offers more advantages.
I'll copy paste my answer from another similar thread:
My question is this: Why would anyone buy the PRO version of the CGO600 when you can buy the PLUS version which has a slightly more powerful motor (45NM on plus), (as opposed to 35nm on PRO). I also heard that the motor on the plus is slightly less noisy too. Also, the plus offers you 8 gears, and even if you live in a flat area, why wouldn't you want 8 gears as opposed to just 1 gear just in case you leave your local area and you encounter hills maybe even mountains? Maybe at some point you'll also move places and the terrain is not going to be flat all the time. Both bikes are the same price too.
Does anyone here believe that the PRO is a better choice than plus? If so, why? The maintenance-free thing doesn't sound like a big "plus" to me because it's not a big deal to oil up the chain every now and then, so I have yet to see a good reason why one should go for the PRO and not for the Plus. You get way more advantages with the Plus than with the Pro.

Ha. Thank you for letting me know about this, appreciate it! Just checked the website and you're right. I might buy the 'classic' PRO which apparently offers more assistance than the new PRO since it has a slightly more powerful motor.
edit: Nvm, actually according to the Tenways website the motor is the same on both. It's the Plus that has the slightly more powerful one. Now i'm not sure what to choose between old PRO and Plus. Would you say the assistance is more powerful on the Plus, the same, or worse? I would ride it mostly on flat roads, but i do want the one with better assistance, that's the point of buying an ebike after all. It does look like the Plus comes with a better motor but what if the PAS levels are f**** up like on the new PRO? and as a result it won't feel more powerful even though it is. Very hard to decide between them if i can't test ride them.
What if they actually aren't, and they're just saying this so that people continue buying their bikes? I refuse to believe they're so incompetent as a company to release a bike with this kind of an issue, and even if it wasn’t intentional, they should've addressed and fixed the issue much sooner. Remember, any serious (and even not so serious) company would make a ton of tests before releasing a bike. There's no way they didn't know about it.
I mean look at the top comment in this thread, someone said the following: "Bike shop employees themselves told me it's now limited to 23kmh instead of 25 on the 2025 cgo600 pro & cgo800s. Tenways told them it's working as expected".
So, again, i doubt they are working on a fix when in reality it's working as intended.
Unfortunately I can't test ride them in my area. But i am just confused about this aspect, you're saying it's a 10nm difference (in the favor of the Plus) but these guy say that the Plus feels less powerful, so what's up with that?
I'm asking because apparently the motor of the CGO 600 plus has 45 Nm whereas CGO 600 pro has 40 Nm. However, some users on this sub have said that the older version, the CGO 600 pro which makes no sense to me given that the motor of the Plus is slightly stronger? Anyone here tested both?
edit: actually according to the Tenways website , but my point still stands because as you can see the Plus comes with a 45 nm motor, pro has a 40 nm motor.

How often does this bike go on sale? Should I buy it now or wait until summer sale? Will there even be a summer sale? It costs 2100$ if i order it right now here in the EU (in the US they sell it for 1599$!!!) which is in my opinion too much for what this bike offers. The US price is much more in line with its actual value.
-
I'm trying to purchase the older version, the one with stronger pedal assistance, as several users here have mentioned that the newer model has been toned down quite a bit. But the thing is, if you try to place an order through the website by selecting the Midnight Black model with a belt drive for example (which is supposed to be the older model) and then you check your cart, it will say that you are buying the "Tenways CGO600 Pro Plus". Isn't the midnight black belt drive supposed to be the older version? The "Plus" in the name makes me think this might be the newer, downgraded 2025 model, so i'm not sure what to think.
-
Are you satisfied with this bike overall? I've read mixed reviews, some users report issues after extended use, while others say it still performs like new.
Do you feel uncomfortable or cramped on the medium? I don't want an aggresive riding position (which i think the L would give me?), i'm just looking for something casual for city rides and some forest paths. I'm leaning towards the medium but i'm really not sure and can't really test drive it where I live either.
I'm interested in buying this bike but I always had this problem with bikes, I am 1.77m tall (5'10") and I always find myself inbetween size M and L and I don't know what to choose.
I heard that when you're in between sizes you should size down but i'm not sure and i can't really test drive the bike where I live.
Can someone who has this bike help me out with some info?
Thanks for that.
My suggestion is for GG to improve the way Smart Focus interacts with hotkeys. My post already explains what the issue is, but in a nutshell:
When it's my turn to act on a table, that table should receive full focus (not just visual focus), so that I can use hotkeys without needing to move my mouse over every single table every single time it's my turn to act.
This would allow players who multi-table to fold or act quickly on multiple tables using only the keyboard, improving efficiency and overall gameplay comfort.
You said "what is improving to you could be bad for others". I disagree because ideally this could be added as an optional toggle in the settings, so players who prefer the current behavior can keep it as is. This way, everyone will be happy.
My suggestion isn't about 'mimicking another platform', it's about improving player experience for those who multi-table and want to rely on hotkeys. Why would this be a bad thing?
At the moment, Smart Focus and hotkeys don’t work together smoothly on gg, which makes multi-tabling feel frustrating and unintuitive.
In other words, why not make the experience better for all players if you can?
That explains the behavior, but it's a bit disappointing that ggpoker's Smart Focus isn't so smart and doesn't actually bring focus to the active table, which is needed for hotkeys to work properly. On PokerStars you can press a hotkey and fold across all tables without touching the mouse because the active table gets full focus when it's your turn. It's a more chill experience and the #1 reason i still play there and not on GGpoker.
Any chance this could be improved in the future? It would make multi-tabling a lot smoother for everyone.
Yeah the nose has to be on a certain part of the overlap.
Holy crap i just tried this and it worked!! But how was i supposed to know this if i didnt make this post lmao. So no player actually makes use of this feature, since everyone tiles up their tables for that clean look right? I got it to work for 4 tables but it looks.. unpleasant. The mouse ALWAYS has to be in a particular spot where ALL tables overlap each other, this is crazy. Why wouldnt GGpoker fix this?? I complained about the same issue 4-5 years ago, STILL nothing!! On PokerStars, this feature works flawlessly without the tables overlapping each other and without positioning the mouse in a particular spot.
What i dont understand is, if you play at 6 tables, your screen will look really messy if all tables overlap each other, no? Why can't it work properly with all tables being properly positioned like when you're tiling them up. Shouldn't they fix this? Also, do you keep your mouse in a particular area on the screen?
If there is no overlap it won’t work.
I didn't know this. I just tried this though and didn't work. Like i said, visually, the table where it's my turn does pop up, but i STILL have to move my mouse over that particular table in order to fold the hand using the hotkey on my keyboard. Are you sure you tried this using hotkeys?
I’ve been dealing with this issue on GGPoker for years, and I’m surprised it still hasn’t been addressed.
I want to use both hotkeys and the Smart Focus feature. But when hotkeys are enabled, I have to manually move my mouse over each table in order for my hotkeys (for example pressing the fold button on the keyboard) to work. Otherwise, nothing happens.
I tried doing a clean reinstall as GGPoker support suggested on mail (including deleting the POKER-GGPCOM-LIVE folder from Documents), and while that partially helped, Smart Focus started showing the correct table visually, it still doesn’t pass actual focus to that table, so hotkeys won’t work unless my mouse is over it.
For example, if I’m holding down my fold hotkey and it's my turn on the table to the right, but my mouse is still over the table to the left, the fold action (pressing a hotkey on the keyboard) won’t go through. Even moving the mouse off both tables doesn’t help. I have to constantly move the mouse manually to get hotkeys to register.
On PokerStars, everything works flawlessly: I press my fold hotkey and it folds across tables whenever it’s my turn, no mouse movement required.
I’m honestly not sure if this is a bug that only affects me or something that impacts everyone. But I’ve never seen any streamer use Smart Focus and hotkeys successfully on GGPoker either, which makes me think this might be a widespread issue.
Would love to see this improved, I want to play 6+ tables efficiently and avoid using the mouse for every single decision.
Anyone else run into this?
I live in an apartment that's on the ground floor, and there are these tall plants outside that I can actually touch from my room when i open my window. The roots of these plants are in the earth below, not in a pot.
-
Does touching them have the same effect as earthing/grounding? How can i test this?
-
Can i connect one of these grounding mats or whatever they're called to the plant so i can ground myself while im at the computer? is this an efficient way to do this? I'm new to all this.
Nice, thanks for the feedback, although, this makes no sense to me! Because what you and the other person in this thread are saying goes against what the manufacturer is saying, lol. On Tenways's website it says that size M is for people between 1.65 - 180m and size L is for people between 1.80 - 195m. So the medium should fit us better shouldn't it? Can't understand why the very manufacturer would lie about it, because at this point i can't say you're an exception either, i've heard from a couple people saying that the Large fit them better.
What i find strange is that the manufacturer recommends the medium for people like us, below 1.80cm, so in theory the larger frame shouldn't have fitted you so well, in theory the medium size frame should've been perfect for us, so that's pretty confusing. On their website it says that size L is for people between 1.80 - 195.
But your feedback definitely helps, thanks a lot!
I'm 1.78cm / 5'10" and my inseam is 82cm. I'm interested in buying the CGO600 Pro, but i'm kind of inbetween sizes and i can't test drive the bike where I live, so I don't know which frame size to go with.
On Tenways's website it says that:
Size M is for people between 1.65 - 1.80 cm (5'5" - 5'11")
Size L is for people between 1.80 - 1.95 cm (5'11" - 6'5")
So based on this information i thought i should get the medium, but someone who tested this bike (although this guy is slightly shorter than I am) said that i should probably go with the large. What i care about the most is to get the size which i will feel the most comfortable on.
What frame size did you guys choose and what is your height? How comfortable are you on the bike? I'm looking for feedback from people who are my height or close to it.
Hi, i'm also 5ft10 (1.78m) and i'm interested in buying the CGO600 Pro. Which size did you go with? Someone advised me to get the large, but on their website it says that size M is for people between 165-180 so that should fit me better i think. Whch size did you go with and how comfortable are you on the bike?
Well, the problem is.. according to Tenways's return policy, you can't return the bike if you've used it. You can only return an unused bike. It says so here. So i absolutely have to be sure that the bike meets my needs. And i can't really trust what youtubers who are affiliated with Tenways are saying about the bike, for obvious reasons. I mean, you probably read my post already, different people say different things about it which only makes me more confused. I trust what people are saying here on Reddit way more than people who are affiliated with Tenways.
The thing is: I've ridden an ebike with a cadence sensor before, and i really didnt enjoy pedalling it because you are just ghost pedaling, you make 0 effort. That's not fun. I want an ebike with a torque sensor, like Tenways, but like you saw in post, some youtubers (who are not affiliated with them) say that it's a struggle pedaling this bike, that you don't get anywhere unless you work for it. I do want to put in some effort, just not a whole lot. And i think Tenways might be the right ebike for me but i can't be too sure. The fact that it's a single speed makes things even more confusing, as ive never ridden anything like that before. So yeah, i'm trying to understand how the bike works and how hard or easy it is to pedal it from people here.
Cool, thanks for the feedback. Got some questions if you don't mind answering:
-
Can you tell me how much effort you have to put in pedalling this bike in percentages compared to a non electric bike? So let's say on a non electric bike the effort you have to put in is 100%. How much effort do you have to put in on each level of assist with this bike? Is it something like.. 80% first level, 60% second, 40% third or...? I'm just confused because it's a single speed bike so i've no idea.
-
What's the actual range on each level of assist based on your experience? Can you do around 63 kms/37 miles on assist level 3 like this youtuber said? You probably don't weigh 62kg like she said she does but can you still get around 50kms/30 miles on assist level 3?
Exactly! So how can i make sure that the bike i'm receiving (if i am to buy it) is going to be the "easy to pedal" version, lol. One thing to keep in mind is that many of these people who make reviews are affiliated with Tenways, they get a certain percetange of each purchase when people use their promo codes, so it makes sense that they will make exaggerations about how easy and fun to pedal the bike is.
-

The fact that these people who make reviews tend to exaggerate and/or in some cases straight up lie to their own subscribers, makes it hard for me to make the decision to buy this bike, especially because where I live i can't test drive it and judging by their return policy, you can't return the bike once you've used it either.

You said that the range is not as advertised. What's the actual range on each level of assist based on your experience?
-
Do you recommend this bike as a city commuter?
Cool, let me ask you some questions.
-
How long have you had the bike for? Any problems with it so far?
-
What do you think about what this guy is saying here? He seems to be tired, he's gasping for air, he's going really slow and he's on level assist 2. Has your experience been the same? I just don't understand why some people seem to be flying with this thing, whereas others seem to struggle.
-
Do you find it easy to pedal on level assist 3? Or do you still have to put in some effort since the bike has a torque sensor? The reason i'm asking is because it's a single speed ebike so..ive never ridden anything like that before.
I live in Europe and for various reasons, i am interested in buying the . I've never ridden a single speed belt drive bike or ebike before. Anyway, i started watching some reviews on youtube.
Now, here's the issue, or at least what i believe to be a possible issue. The first review I watched with this ebike was . The bike has 3 levels of assistance, so as you can see in the video, as soon as this lady activates the motor, the bike is very easy to pedal. On level assist 3 she says "yeah that's a breeze" and seems to have a very easy time pedalling the bike.
Then i watched and he actually says that it's quite hard to peddle the bike, and you can hear him gasping for air at times. Keep in mind, this guy lives in the US so his ebike has a 350w motor, as opposed to the EU version which has a 250w motor (the version the lady was riding) so he should have an even easier time riding the bike. And I don't think this is a matter of each person's fitness level because a) this is an ebike after all and b) there are other reviews, such as and he also seems to have a hard time riding the bike, almost as if it was a non electric (he was using electric assistance if you are watching from my timer). Shouldn't this bike be way easier to ride, considering it only weights 35 pounds/16kg? This guy even replied to someone in the comments and said "Man idk..i was working really hard for that 17mph too. Lol. I seem other reviews where they were getting 24+ easily so mine might be configured wrong or something".
Then I watched and on level assist 2 (not even 3) he says "it's crazy how easy it is to peddle this thing"
So, that's going on here? What's causing this change? I've never ridden a single speed bike before, so i'm pretty confused. Is it because the EU version is limited to 25km/h (16 miles/h)? Although, different people from the US said different things about how easy/hard it is to peddle the bike. Could it be that the bikes are not configured the same for everybody like that guy was suspecting? I checked the specs and the only difference between the EU version and the US version is the motor, the US version having a 350w motor (but it's the same motor), as opposed to 250w motor, the EU version. Both versions have torque sensors.
Anyway, in the case that I end up buying the bike and I find that it isn't as easy to peddle as i'd like it to be (especially on hills), is it possible to change the gear ratio of this particular bike to make it easier to pedal? If yes, how do I do this?
Huh. So there's people who are complaining about all sorts of problems with this ebike? From what ive seen, everyone says that the bike has premium components 🤔. Also, people who leave positive reviews saying they love the bike are also very likely to do so after just short period of buying and testing the bike, so we don't know if they encounter any problems later down the road.
I can't test ride one either. I mainly want to buy it because I love the minimalistic style, the fact that it only weights 16kg and that it has a torque sensor. This ebike is really interesting to me but I don't like the fact that it comes without a front suspension, and i'm not sure about the single speed belt drive either, never ridden one of those. Like i said in my post, i just can't tell if it's easy to pedal or not, and realizing that these reviews were more like ads, makes it hard to discern between what's true and what's an exaggeration.
I also believe that the bike is quite pricey, costing around 1800€. I wonder if I can find something better or just as interesting for the same price or maybe even lower.

Problem is, this 250W(max 500w) Bafang m400 motor that one of the ebikes im interested in has seems to be very old. I can't even find reviews on youtube with ebikes that have this model. The only thing i found was this, and if you look at the date, it was uploaded in 2016. It sounds pretty loud too. This is the bike, i can get it for about 1500$ in my area.
I have the opportunity to buy one of two ebikes: one that has a 250w Bafang M410 80 Nm mid drive motor and another one that has a 250w Bafang M400 80 Nm mid drive motor. One of them has a better battery in terms of autonomy but it doesn't matter to me, as i'm fine with either of them. My question is, is the difference between a bike with M400 and another with M410 noticeable at all? I will be riding the ebike on flat roads 90% of the time, the 10% is basically for the weekends when i head into the mountains. I know nothing about these motors so any help is appreciated.
Hi, i know i'm replying to an old comment of yours but i want to ask you something.
You said:
Taking this point a step further, you can actually program a Bafang torque sensor to behave exactly like a very sensitive and accurate cadence sensor if you want to for some reason, so long as you fully understand the settings made available in Bafang's programming software. This is true for their torque sensing mid drives as well as their torque sensing bottom bracket that is usable with their hub motors.
Can you explain how I can do this? My ebike has a hub motor but also a torque sensor, so can i actually make it so that the bike behaves like one with a cadence sensor when i want it to? This is the display and controller of my ebike if you're wondering.
Thanks for the explanation! One more thing:
The benefit of a torque sensor, in my mind, it that instead of picking a relative cap on power the motor will be supplied via the mode, the system actually measures your input. If you are putting in very little effort, the controller sends very little electricity to the motor. If you begin pedals hard, the controller will send a lot of electricity to the motor, to help out. It is proportional to your effort.
So if you ride a bike that has a hub motor with a torque sensor, then you pretty much have to put in the same amount of effort as you would on a non electric bike, except this time your effort is being amplified by the motor x times depending on the level of assist, correct? Because that sounds like what i'm looking for. I do not want to ghost pedal, although I wouldn't mind ghost pedaling when i'm tired and want to get back home asap, lol.
Btw, can you actually ghost pedal on a bike with a torque sensor too? Like maybe if you use the highest level of assist and low gears?
Got a question for you, about your "pure cadence sensor bike". You said it's "designed for people who really want to pretend to pedal"
But you see, I don't really want to do that. I don't want to ghost pedal. Is there any way you can pedal the cadence sensored ebike without getting the feeling of 'ghost pedaling'? I want to get an ebike, but i do not want the 'motorcycle' feel where you just sit there and let it do all the work for you. I still want to feel like i'm pedaling, although, nothing too hardcore. Is it possible to do this on an ebike with a cadence sensor? For example, by using the lowest assistance level possible combined with the highest gear possible, would that do the trick if i dont want to ghost pedal? Would that make me feel like i'm riding a non electric bike?
Thanks for the explanation, but i don't necessarily see the ghost pedaling as a benefit. The thing is, i'm planning to buy my first ebike soon. I know that torque sensor ebikes are what you want if what you're after is a leg workout, but im interested in a few cadence sensored ebikes and want to ask: is there any way you can pedal the cadence sensored ebike without getting the feeling of 'ghost pedaling'? I want to get an ebike, but i do not want the 'motorcycle' feel where you just sit there and let it do all the work for you. I still want to feel like i'm pedaling, although, nothing too hardcore. I'm trying to understand the way it works. So let's say we have 2 identical bikes, but one is a hub with a torsion sensor, while the other one is a hub motor without a torsion sensor. How different would the riding experience be? Which one is more fun?
Someone said that on a mid drive if you want to stop, you need to break slowly, downshift all the way to gear 1 from whatever gear you're in, and then stop. Also to never brake hard unless it's an emergency. Is this true? That would suck and would totally take the fun out of riding the bike. This would be annoying especially in cities where you have to stop often.

Recently i was considering ordering my first ebike which would be a mid drive. But, someone who has a mid drive told me that one has to be very careful with how he/she rides this type of an ebike, because if you don't know what you are doing then it's just a matter of time until you break your chain and if you happen to be in the middle of nowhere, then good luck getting back to civilization. Or worse, you could do damage to the motor.
Basically, he said that you have to be aware of your speed at all times because you're always going to have to shift gears accordingly whether you are speeding up or slowing down, like on a manual car, except this time it's like a manual car with a lot more gears, so more effort must be done. And from what ive seen mid drive ebikes have from 8 to 12 gears. On top of that you also have to either stop pedaling the moment you shift gears, or pedal very slowly for a second or two in order to not strain the motor long term and in some cases even short term (and then you can speed up again). He said this is the proper way to drive a mid drive ebike and if you're not being careful then it's just a matter of time until you run into problems, and problems mean money.
So, while doing what he told me is probably going to prolong the life of my bike's motor, battery and chain, i'm worried that having to pay attention to shifting gears like that all the time is going to take the fun out of riding the bike which is supposed to be a fun and enjoyable experience. I'm already thinking about abandoning the idea of getting a mid drive ebike and getting a hub motor ebike instead, so that i dont have to focus so much on these things and I'm probably going to have a lot more fun riding that type of ebike. What do you guys think?
My ebike has an LCD display. It looks exactly . My question is, can something bad happen to the display or even to the controller if i ride my bike when it rains?
edit: Has anyone here had any problems with their display after riding the bike in rain?
Hey brother i have one more question for you. If you put the Riverside 520 on level 1 of assistance and then you use the highest gear possible, do you feel like you are making effort pedaling the bike, similar to pedaling a normal bike? Does it still feel like you are "ghost pedaling"?
I want to buy an ebike which i can use to do a leg workout if i want to (so in this case, using assistance 1 and highest gear). But if i don't feel like making too much effort, then i just use level 3 and lower the gears. Hope my question makes sense :).
The ebike that im interested in has a mid drive motor and a torque sensor too. Ok so, what if you wanted to cruise at a nice speed but you're not in the mood to pedal too hard because you're tired or whatever? A cadence sensor ebike would do the trick but i'm not sure this is possible on a mid drive motor ebike with a torque sensor?
I've heard that mid drive ebikes detect the rider's pedaling force rather than the speed and then assists the rider while contributing force while pedaling. Now here's my question: Should i buy a mid drive ebike given that there are times when I want to reach max speed but without pedalling too hard? This ebike that i'm interested in has no throttle either.
I mean, on paper, the mid drive sounds better and more natural. When i'm tired however i do not want to be pedalling too hard but still want to be cruising at a nice speed. Ebikes with a hub motor seem to do exactly that, but the problem with them is that i can't stand the ghost pedaling feel (tested my friends hub motor ebike, you basically make little to no effort). So I'm a little unsure what to buy. Basically i want to do a leg workout early in the morning (mid drive bike effect) but little to no effort later in the day (hub drive ghost pedaling effect). So in my case should i buy an ebike with a cadence sensor or mid drive with a torque sensor?
Hey man i have some questions about this Riverside 520e ebike, as i'm interested in buying it.

How much does the motor assist you on each level? Does it go straight to 25km/h on all levels as soon as you pedal or is it like.. level 1 = 10 km/h, level 2 = 15 km/h or something like that? do you know how much the motor assists you on each level?
-
Do you ever feel like you are "ghost pedaling"? Ive heard this complaint from some people with certain ebikes, I wonder if it's the same on this ebike. Do you have to actually use your leg muscles to pedal the bike forward or does the motor do everything for you and you just sit and chill like on a motorcycle?

Is the saddle comfortable?
I'm no expert either, as a matter of fact this may be my first e bike. Hey man i have some questions.

Anyone here have ? I'm interested in buying it so i'd like to see what people here have to say about this bike. Apparently the bike has a torque sensor even thought it has a hub motor? I thought only mid drive bikes had a torque sensor so that's interesting.
Yeah torque sensor seems to be superior. But here's the deal. Early in the morning i don't mind getting a leg workout on my way to work. But on my way back home, i just want to get home asap without peddling too hard, actually i wouldnt mind the 'ghost pedaling' feel in that case. Is this possible on a torque sensor ebike? Or is that possible only on a cadence sensored ebike?
I'm planning to buy my first ebike soon. I still want to do some pedaling, although, nothing too hardcore.
Which one would you choose between these, for commuting + some fun at the local park and through some foresty trails.
- €799,99
- €899,99
- £1,399.99
- £1,499.99
I found some american companies (such as Ride1Up) that have some interesting ebikes, but they do not ship to Europe. So i'm looking for an ebike that's either made from a company in Europe or ships to Europe.
I want to use it on asphalt (80% of the time) but also on some light-bumpy forest trails (20% of the time).
So far i'm thinking of buying one of these:
from Decathlon seems like an alright bike, with an autonomy of 100 km. This one costs around 1650$.
seems like like a pretty cool ebike with an autonomy of 100 km. This one costs around 1910$, but it's a bit expensive for me, so i'm not sure if it's worth making the effort to buy this one, the specs don't seem that good for the price? I do like the look of it though.
Then there's this one that's made in China called . Hydraulic brakes, hydraulic suspensions and an autonomy of 125km. The obvious downside is that it's from China and the quality of the components is questionable. But the specs are crazy good given the fact that it costs less than 1000$.
Let me know what you guys think about those ebikes and if you have any better alternatives than those presented. My budget is around 1500$-1600$.
Thanks for the long answer, appreciate the feedback. Yeah, I heard mixed reviews about this bike. Some love it and say everything is fine, while others complain that it either came with some kind of a problem (such as yours), or something on the bike, such as the chain, broke within the first week of riding the bike. Which made me a little hesitant to buy it, because it feels like a gamble, I'm either lucky and won't have any issues with it, or i'm going to have to make some trips to the decathlon shop every now and then to have it repaired. But after making some research, i realized that there are mixed reviews for pretty much all e-bikes at this price range. After all, it's not that expensive, at least not when it comes to ebikes, but i can't really afford something more expensive either. The reason i want to buy it is because it seems like an overall well balanced ebike, good on flat as well as on hilly/mountainy areas, it also looks quite cool. Btw, is the saddle comfortable?
Hey OP, i'm interesting in buying the Rockrider E-ST 500 v3 from Decathlon, the one you have.
Some questions for you if you don't mind answering:
-
If the battery is charged to the max how many kms can you make on each assistance level on average? (i understand that there are several factors at play, your weight, weather conditions, the terrain etc). I'm asking because i live in a flat area, no hills no mountains and i wonder if i can do 100km with it on a single charge, perhaps on level 1 assistance level.
-
Can you also ride this bike without using the electric motor? Or is the bike too heavy for that therefore the motor always has to be in use?
-
Are you overall happy with this ebike? What do you like about it and what do you not like about it?
The smart focus feature is not working when hotkeys are enabled. As soon as you disable hotkeys, smart focus starts working as intended. The problem now is that for me, it's annoying to play without hotkeys. Can you guys fix it so that both hotkeys and smart focus work at the same time? On pokerstars, both features work at the same time without any issues, i don't understand why this isn't the case on a big site like ggpoker.
For example, i want to be able to fold my hand by just pressing a button on my keyboard without having to also move my mouse over that table. Smart focus helps with this. On pokerstars, i press the fold button on my keyboard to fold my hand on the table on the left, then, i just wait until smart focus pops up the table on the right and when it does i press the same button to fold my hand, without having to use the mouse at all (their feature is not called smart focus but it's the same thing). This doesn't work on ggpoker. Can you guys fix it?
I just figured out what the issue was. The reason the smart focus feature was not working was because hotkeys were enabled. As soon as I disabled hotkeys, smart focus started working as intended. When you are playing more than one table at the same time( Multi-Table), Smart Focus automatically change the table whereby tables that require action will automatically be brought to the foreground.
I know this, but when i'm multi-tabling, Smart focus doesn't do anything, almost as if it was disabled. I need help to make it work.
Please be reminded that if you move the table by your action, Smart Focus won't change the table automatically, until you make an action on the moved table.
I just tested this now. The focus was on the table on the left and it was my turn to act on the table on the right, and smart focus did not pop up that table. It didn't do anything.
**Smart Focus Is not supported on Mac OS.
I'm on Windows 10.
Been playing some cash games lately and noticed that ggpoker has a feature called "smart focus" which pops up/automatically selects the table where it's your turn to act. I've enabled this feature but it does not work, been playing for days and it has not once popped up a different table than my current table. It's also sinister how there is 0 information about it on the internet, 0 videos on how it's supposed to work on youtube, etc. Basically, nothing.
What's wrong with it? how can i make it work? Does this feature work for you? Pokerstars has a similar feature and it does work.
I'm from Europe and our electric outlets do not have a grounding system (at least not in the country that I live in). I live in an apartment on ground floor so the plan is to stick a cord out the window and into the dirt below, but I'm confused about the equipment that I'd need.
So how can I do this? I'm thinking about buying but I'd also need a grounding mat and a coil cord, right? Which grounding mat and coil cord would be compatible with the grounding rod that I linked? Would and the coil cord that it comes with be compatible with that particular grounding rod? How can I tell for sure that both are compatible? If one of them isn't compatible, what should I buy? Is there anything else I need? Can't believe they didn't bother to explain all these essential things on their website.
If im not mistaken, the "player profile" is supposed to be created for each player as soon as they've played 10 hands right? Ive played with the same people for hours and it doesn't show their stats. But every now and then a player I used to play with last year joins my table, and it does show their stats. What should I do?
Came back to poker recently. The hud doesn't show me the stats for 90% of players. For some reason it does show me the stats for about 10% percent of them. I reinstalled the software, same problem. What's going on?
What are the top 3 pvp hotspots on Chernarus in your opinion?
Anyone here familiar with Iohan? This guy was fearless, inspiring, friendly and egoless. He died 1 year ago and I still can't believe he's gone. His videos were epic, I watched all of them. Miss this guy, it almost feels like a lost a family member.
I just joined a server where I was fully geared, I was in the woods somewhere at the edge of the map (on Livonia) and within 2 seconds of joining the server I got the You are dead message, HOW?! This happened on an official server
According :
Actual retinal detachment is painless, however, so individuals should be aware that while it is a medical emergency, they won’t experience any discomfort. Some people may brush off symptoms, reasoning that since they’re not in pain there isn’t a problem. But that isn’t the case.
You may also experience flashing lights, or seeing shadows in your field of vision.
You may also see more floaters than you usually do. The floaters may move over your field of vision and then flash.
Signs You’ve Already Experienced a Retinal Detachment The biggest sign that a retinal detachment has already happened is experiencing what looks like gray all over your vision. Some people may describe this as a curtain or veil.
These symptoms do describe what I've (and many others) been experiencing.
At first, VS was the most annoying for me. Then it was the tinnitus. Now these 2 combined don't bother me as much as palinopsia does. My situation became worse and worse with time.
What about you guys?
