Cool art I find it cool how you transfurmed the human aspects into the sona. Would the mustache be whiskers in this case?

Fur critique I think the ratio between body and leg length is too much in the leg’s favor. I know fur humans /plantigrade the torso and the legs are about the same length but idk how this translates into digitigrade.

I have a moderately bushy mustache right now. I was going fur something like in the picrels but only a mustache. Probably could've been done better. Oh, well.
The legs took me a while. Basically, I traced much of this from an IRL photo. The most difficult parts were attaching an anthro head & translating the legs. These are the notes I came up with in the process:
>humerus:femur:tibia:metatarsal span
>4:4:4:3 (approximate)
>Basically, leg should be the same total length as a real human leg.
>The metatarsal-phalanges projection on the ground should be about the same size as in the real world.
Human legs are about twice as long as the torso. But, yes, I struggled a bit more than I wanted with proportioning the legs properly though that was fun. I can see how the end result might look a little leggy, especially since I was kind of lazy with the knee which should've been a little higher to bring the femur:tibia ratio closer to 1:1, thereby shortening the whole leg just a smidge.
But thank you, Purrgem, thank you. Maybe I'll tone down the bullying just a bit.

I'm rather fond of the little fur God allowed us to keep. Also, it's easy to look cute when you hide behind an animal face, yes. lol.

I've posted a few things here with the same tracing method: an unfinished rendition of old Cassandra playing bass guitar, a study as I developed this method using a stock photo, Bane as an anthro, and Aramis in the art thread (though that was a different style but still using a traced base). Other than that, nowhere else (using the same style).

What is it to you? What in the world could it possibly be worth to you? This isn't about me expressing my personal disgust with the process as it relates to what you're planning on doing, this is me offering lifestyle advice - that becoming a hypertrophied walking tumour mutant fur no reason is retarded. If that is something which you really want to do, whatever; life is about expending your (finite) time and energy fur personal gratification and self-actualisation.

i have thought about doing this, but it feels a little dumb and almost like i'm face-doxxing myself even though that's not really true. i would know what animal i would be tho
>>89723
to be fair, you did tell him to not gain muscle, so your bias may be relevant. i don't think most people trying to gain muscle want to look like bodybuilders, and being strong enough to be able to handle yourself in a fight is generally a good thing

Yes.

What in the world this infurmation is possibly worth to me is the entertainment value it provides me. Your reply seems to implicitly answer my question. Thank you.
I'm not particularly interested in excessive hypertrophy but I'm willing to subject myself to it if it means I become stronger. That and the prevention of musculoskeletal degeneration are my primary motivators.
>>89750
It does feel a little odd at first. In my case, one of the motivations was developing my trace technique further and sorting out issues like translating to digitigrade anatomy. The other motivation was a long-gone (I think) thread asking everyone what their fursona would be and I made a not-so-serious reply saying I'd be some "mystery meat mutt abomination" and started thinking about which animals would best represent my ancestry. But that idea stuck and intrigued me so I figured it'd be fun to do, and it was.
Do it if you'd like. I think it'd be cool.

This is really good.
Get big , get strong as fluff.
Go hard in the gym. Your body is going to react really well to the stimulus.
Highly recommend.

finally decided to get around to doing it. i think i would be a border collie since i have mostly anglo genes, am neurotic, and am fairly intelligent

I was thinking of asking you what your deal with border collies is, I guess that answers that well enough, but you're free to elaborate.

You have a really pleasant artstyle, d00d. Yeah, Linux loves doing that sometimes, though I've still come to dread the times I have to use Windows far more. Windows 10 actually feels like it's falling apart somehow, almost like Microsoft's doing it on purpose. idk. schizophrenia.
