PREMISE:
Pepe and his homies were out of weed, so he needed to go out and get money.
He ended up getting a job at the Soyslum to scout out schizos for potential patients.
While searching, he ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time and got abducted by Rapeson.

I should probably mentiom that I was a dev for FNAC at one point and one idea I had for FNAC 2 was that there would be windows to the left and right of your office that 'jaks would walk past before they reach your door in front of you, one character I had in mind to play off this mechanic was one who would walk very slowly past your window and kill you if you made any kind of noise. Here's an incredibly basic and rudimentary example of how the cameras COULD look. Of course nothing is definitive until it makes into the crytopad, about this idea you just have to know:

nothing from yesterday is on the doc yet. I am currently working on a big document about how the first night could work (includes office mechanics and all jak behaviors; looking to just release it as a whole since some things don't make too much sense on their own) and that's why the thread has been completely dead today.
For example: I have found a use for the long-dead websiteflies tied to a sanity mechanic that was scraped from the flumpty games and that nicely ties them to the rest of the jaks, it'll take some time to fully complete but the project ain't dead yet. Some things about jerdee and shemeecucks have also changed.

there's an actual feeding tube used to refill a "hunger" meter and feed meximutt when he pulls up, if Mameson enters your office via doors or vent, he will start eating the Goyslop until you click on him, if you run out of Goyslop when he's at the office, he jumpscares you. When he's not at the office, he'll start breaking the tubes from the places marked with Xs in them, thus reducing the amount of goyslop you get over time, you can catch him in the cams and click on him to reset his location back to the goon cave.

wasn't able to do as much as I wanted because life got on the way, but I have managed to elaborate on office mechanics and I just have to decide what to do with the trap door (current working idea is to have it be similar to the vents, but 'jaks that go through it will enter your room and you have to suck them out using the terminal). but I need to be sure of how it'll work before working on the more complex 'jaks.

The current system I made up is WEIRD, and I woudn't be opposed to switching to a traditional power system if it turned out to work like dogshit. Feel free to ask questions if it's a margerald.

The /v/ thread has a guy that has already made a functioning office in unity, however, it's much more similiar to a flumty's office, he's even made a completely different model for the map.

Interesting concepts. I like the sanity and hunger (thoughbeit hunger should start at 100% and decrease as the player gets, hungry to make it less confusing).
Repair terminal could be in the game, maybe integrated with camera panel, but should be limited to 3 or 4 functions. I can see what you were going for with the power usage, but not being able to open up doors is unforgiving as shit, we should balance the game so the average fnaftrannycaca fan doesn't get repelled by the dificulty.

Thanks for the feedback. The hunger and sanity meters should both behave the same (either they start full and decrease or viceversa) to prevent confusion.
The idea with the repair terminal is to have things other than doors/cameras use power, I made it separate from the cameras as it only affects things in your office, will be removing the music option as it's redundant.
When it comes to the doors, making them unable to be opened was just a hard handed attempt to prevent the player from having them closed all night, my other idea is to have them degrade as you use them, thus eventually forcing you to fix them and incentivizing you to have them down for as little as possible. From what I'm seeing, the game might feel more like UCN than ONAF, but I'm fine with that.

The doc itself is turning out well (over 2k words now), I'll try to pull an all nighter and get it finished tonight, but no promises.

The dev for flumty's was exposed as a diddyblud a while ago, then had a mental breakdown like a faggot and quit the internet, nothing to do with our project, no clue why this guy hates it so much.

Doc is close to done, here's some new lore from it:

>HTSM’s goyslop factory was once part of a failed Soysylum project, conceived back when Dr. Soyberg was still alive. Its goal was to slowly assimilate patients back into Soyciety. The project quickly went to shit. The participants complained incessantly about it being a “DNB,” and accused the administrator of both “rulecucking” and “not banning the things they didn’t like”. They eventually killed the administrator, a Soysylum employee known as “Quote.”


>In response, the Soysylum terminated the project and sealed the facility. The office was once the administrator’s room. Now, Dr. Soyer (the FNAC protagonist) has restored a limited amount of power, allowing Pepe to defend himself while Soyer contacts the glowies in an attempt to shut it down for good. Meanwhile, the ’Jaks are closing in, intending to killing Pepe and steal his Soysylum employee ID so they can escape the facility.
